The Outer Limits: The Inheritors (1999)
It is a Very Positive Outcome
A wonderful story! The other reviewers didn't understand. The 3 Aliens/Altered Humans were taking those sick people to their dying planet to save their race as their blood will be used to reestablish the genes of their alien race who may have originally been from earth. In return the sick people from earth will become healthy and whole again.
The man (Forensic Doctor) will be with his wife, but the woman engaged to Jacob was afraid to go so, she is left behind on earth.
If you listen to the narrator at the end it will be more clear.
The ending isn't told to you directly from the story but it is obvious with all the clues.

Very Well done for low budget Indie film. Enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed this film. I think there were lots of people that didn't understand it. I believe that the old man in the motel is Aidan. He has spent his life going back in time in many parallel universes to save his Granddad and his girlfriend many times. Using his life years in what he has considered to be a worthwhile effort.
I do think that there were a few things that could have been better
(1) They should have chosen an old Victorian Motel that had been built during a time his Grandad would have been a young man. But this undoubtedly would have added a lot more money to the film budget.
(2) I think the "Why Not" answer to the final exam question was really beyond cliche, dumb and rather irritating.
(3) Early on in the film the girlfriend tells Aidan that she has "something" she needs to tell him. And then they have the accident. We never find out what that "something" is. But maybe I am missing something and maybe this particular situation was supposed to mean something philosophically. Maybe I didn't get it....But it seemed like a loose end.
(4) In the last scene Aidan says he wants to walk his girlfriend home. Therefore the accident is avoided. The old man (Old Aidan) has something to do with that. How did he convince Aidan not to drive her home? The old man (Old Aidan) is later sitting in the hotel room 41 holding a motel key..(or a car key? preventing Aidan from driving Lauren home?)
(5) In the first scene with girlfriend (Lauren) in the motel reception, the old man(Old Aidan) is there. How could he be there, when in that time line, Lauren was killed. Maybe he did not succeed in the timeline since it was possibly the original time line. Anyway it's all time stuff that is hard to figure out. (Time loops and the chicken and the egg)
Safe Haven (2013)
Beautiful Movie
Had everything a thriller Romance could ask for.
I haven't read the book but after reading a couple of the reviews of people who read the book I want to add something.....It's impossible to add everything in a 2 hour movie that was in the book. I think they did a fabulous job of telling the story in 2 hours....AND I believe that this (with all the extra stuff from the book and possibly even more content from the scriptwriters) would make a wonderful mini series or even a TV series. Although it may only be able to last 1 season cause I think the story would have to be resolved by then. British TV (by design, I believe) makes some wonderful shows that only last one season.
Match Game (2016)
JUST HORRIBLE!! And what is with the Obnoxious Beeping Sounds!
I loved the 70's Match Game with Gene Rayburn. It had a lot of heart and was very clever with great talented Guests that were naturally funny (not scripted). This show is a sham. It's mostly scripted, and badly scripted at that, and everyone is so self conscious that it is painful to watch.
Those horrible LOUD beeping sounds every time a celebrity gives their answer is so abrasive that even if I liked the show I can't bear to listen to those damn beeps every 5 seconds.
What a disappointment and waste of an originally great premise and an originally classy format!
Like many things nowadays the quality is gone.. Stifled with self conscious rhetoric, flashing lights, and sounds that are obnoxious. Catering to Americans short attention spans created by the media and electronics.
The New Frontier (2015)
Music or whatever it was...Too Loud!
I tried to watch this and it seemed liked some interesting information...BUT the music, sound effects, etc. made it super difficult to concentrate on the narration. Horrible!
