Looks great, but with the running time, could have fleshed out the characters. The previous film did some of this better - Dr Yueh or the Baron for example. Seems like a missed opportunity to do the books justice, rather than giving us a remake of the previous film.

I'm concerned that I've overthought this a little too much, but I'm considering this to be one of the most honest dramatisations of love I've ever seen. And they use the C-bomb a lot which is funny...

Ignore the over analysing helpers. This was one of the best episodes of any ST series...

Emotion, thought, acting, effects, story. Damm it even the music was good...

Overall a mixed series but with an overall drive and passion that kept us watching. A perfect ending to the series with genuine emotion.
