I started watching the series because I liked the movies so much. The only character that is the same is the mayor. I have never liked the actor playing the doctor. I really miss the relationship between Cassie, Jake and the kids.
The stories I saw in the first few episodes were just not interesting and the charm of the original movies is gone.

There is no way two double homicides in the Delridge area would trigger a call to the BAU. Magnolia or the Highlands, maybe. The writer of this episode didn't do enough research on Seattle before plugging an area name. Try a little harder!

I was predisposed to like this movie because my daughter was an extra on the film. She only stuck with it for 3 days, but she did make it into the final film. All of the parts were well cast and the story felt like it could happen to my daughter's friends. It was great to see all the local Seattle landmarks on screen. Fun movie, and I always watch it when it is on.
