I am a huge fan of Bengali films and this one is my all time favorite.One of the very few movies that I love watching again and again is Saanjhbathir Roopkathara. The movie is a low-budget film produced by Arindam Chaudhuri while Anjan Das is the director of this Bengali masterpiece. Saanjhbathir Roopkathara is all about the dreams of a girl, which are ultimately realized and come true after much drama. The movie is also all about a poetry. Indrani Halder,the lead actress has given a brilliant performance. Soumitra Chatterjee,father of Indrani in the film has also given one of his best performances. The movie is a poetry on the big screen and brings the best out of Bengali cinema. Its a must watch film for movie lovers who like watching serious movies.A very nice movie by Arindam Chaudhuri and his planman motion pictures and I advice you all should watch the movie.

Do Dooni Chaar is the story of a middle class family living in New Delhi beautifully made by Habib Faisal.The movie stars the lovely Rishi ji and Neetu Singh. Life can be tough for a man who teaches at a school for a living and lives in a DDA flat in Delhi,at the same time is coping with the double digit inflation rates and single digit increments in his salary. Added to that a young son and a teenage daughter and a wife who loves the good life. The life of the Duggal's is passing by in simply taking care of the basics. Until one day, they decide to dream. Their ticket to dreaming comes in the form of a wedding invitation. An innocent little wedding invitation. What follows is a journey of chaos, realizations, calculations, confrontations and bonding.This crazy Duggal's fights it out at home for what they think is a 'good buy' for the family! This family bonds in the most unexpected and hilarious situations.And then, begins another journey that will drive them pretty much nuts. Do Dooni Chaar talks of the middle class man and his struggle in coping with the fast, new 'India Shining'. It's funny, real and heart warming. Do Dooni Chaar is one movie you would not mind watching on a family outing. Apart from the fact that it has an appealing story it also holds by family values.A superb movie for all Indians.

Rok sako to rok lo is story revolving around the rivalry between students of two different schools.It is about how much they really disliked each other and how eager they wanted to beat the other in any competition.Sounds quite familiar and common story.But all doesn't end here.This movie is more than just the story.Debutante director and many new faces makes the film really fresh and new.Not for once it looked like the director of the film is working as a debutante. It stars Sunny Deol,Yash Pandit and Manjari Fandis.Yash and Manjari were among the others making debut with the film. We all love such stories and the best and this movie does satisfy to a huge extent.Its really good and an entertaining movie.Must be seen once to know more about the interesting story and the ending.

A walk to remember is simply amazing movie.Artistically it is not a brilliant movie.It is not a movie with performances that are going to constitute landmarks in the history of acting or something that has high- end special effects.It is a simple movie that has brilliant performance by Shane West & Mandy Moore.Mandy Moore is specially too good in the movie.It is one of her best till date.The film brings too much sadness but I don't think people would have disliked it.Despite the sadness,AWTR inevitably brings innocence, sweetness, optimism and faith in life and love and the ability of every single person for change.The movie is an adaption of a book that brings out the message quite clearly, beautifully, and optimistically.I have never read the book but I have watched this movie repeatedly umpteen times and will continue to watch it.And I'm sure I'll never get bored of this beautiful move.People who have not watched this movie are seriously missing on something truly amazing.

A middle aged man who resorts to lies in order to retain the love of his life and the struggles of budding actors who hope to make it big.This is what'I M 24' is all about.A movie directed by Saurabh Shukla,the movie has been produced by Arindam Chaudhuri's Planman Motion Pictures.Rajat Kapoor playing the role of a hesitant middle aged man to the hilt. Ranvir Shorey and Neha Dhupia have made a nice contribution and make the audience burst into laughter with their childish antics. Lilette Dubey and Saurabh Shukla who played on screen couple fit the bill perfectly with their acting wonder.Jatin Pandit's music is good and the songs are catchy as well. Overall I M 24 is a simple story that has been narrated in a simple manner and must be watched at least once.

Dosar is not a new movie but got to watch it few days ago.It is a very good Bengali movie that deals with the strains of 21st century terribly affecting the relationship between a man and a woman.Both actors have performed exceptionally well. Konkona has brilliantly portrayed her character that has to deal with the pain of betrayal.Prosenjit too is brilliant playing the role of dealing with the mental trauma caused by an accident and then winning his wife's trust back.In the end,both compromise because of the social stigma and pressure.The film has been excellently made; all credit to Rituparno Ghosh.This man has made many excellent and award winning movies and this one is among his best till date that is also different because of the fact that it has been made in black & white and the result is brilliant.Dosar deserves nothing less than a 10/10.
