Intriguing movie, i think the story was great but the movie was not so well produced.
The movie is strange and is definitely not for me. I didn't enjoy that the viewer gets basically zero info during the movie about what is going on and when you're able to get some you need to pause the movie to read ou examinate it. Basically is this, you watch the movie and you're like: What the hell happened i think i didn't got it all. Then you google search what happened: Oh thats it, most of the scenes make a lot more sense now. You may even need to watch the movie a second time to really get it. So yeah, i wish they'd give it away a little more about her mothers intentions and the cult. Also i think the first hour of the movie was a little boring tbh. Go and watch it

Warning guys. About season 1.
This is not a horror show and barely it's a mystery to be honest. This is just a HUGE drama with a paranormal theme along. I feel like i completely wasted my time seeing 30 minutes of brain fart monologues and screamings like what the hell? smh
Jesus Christ.. although i was a bit intrigued at first about the story and also i enjoyed the way they presented the show jumping a lot in time but honestly, like i said, for me it was a big waste of time, they could've easily made it with 5 or 6 episodes...
Very disapointed with this show, guess i was fooled by the 8,7 rating.

I really enjoyed the old x-files (till some point, when it started to be kind of repetitive).
When i saw the promos i was really hyped and was thinking to myself "man, they're finally going to end what it was started and blow every viewers mind"
Damn, i was totally wrong.
The first episode got me, and i was like "yeah, cool, seems like we're back in action", little did i know what was to come.
Then, i don't know what happened, it turned out really bad and sad, it looks like Mulder and Scully are tired all the time, seems like they're not even trying. After watching episode 5 i was "really? what the hell? They must've changed the directors, this is bs". They aren't even trying anymore, the episodes stories are BAD, very BAD, has no science or mystery, it seems like it was written by a 12 YO!!
"oh man ouhhohh, lets take some shrooms ehhhhehhh, totally going to work out, genius ehhhh"

- Being a little more serious now, do not expect outstanding performances or episodes with hard work on it. The only thing outstanding here is the series name "X-Files".

I don't usually write reviews and i don't even think that this show is perfect, that's not the reason i'm writing this. It's good show, i'm sure of it as i enjoyed it quite a lot but it makes you think...
As you watch this you will think more about the importance of time, youth, love and so on.
Even though Henry is immortal he wasn't able to enjoy his 200 years at the finest, at some point it seems like that the only thing that kept him alive was love which was degraded by the essence of time.
As he never ages or dies he couldn't have a "normal" life, didn't take him long to realize it was a curse, everyone he loved or knew he had to watch them die. As you realize, even as an immortal he always lived in fear.
Regarding the end (season1), i don't have much to say, personally i liked it, but most important, i think it probably the best was the show to stop right here, i like open endings more than a ten season show...
> Ps: Every time i saw an episode it reminded me of "The persistence of memory" by Dali as motivation to enjoy life and not just live it, to take my time, slowly, as it should be, wondering if one day when the clock stops ticking i will fully satisfied with all i did.
So.. it ends here... just live life, shouldn't be that hard.
