The Defeated: First Trick (2020) Season 1, Episode 1

Will be Surprised if it gets past two seasons

Dull if not weird plot about an American that goes to post war Berlin to set up an American style police station that is mainly staffed by women. As the storyline gets underway it doesn't surprise that the plot was written by a "woke" feminist". I understand that post war Germany had a manpower shortage but this episode ha plenty of males in secondary role but the local police are entirely staffed by women, another scene has the heroic NYPD guy and his female assistant take down two Russians armed with machine guns all with one pistol and a wooden baton before more Russians arrive to save their comrades, another scene has two American soldiers lured away from their guard duty by a vengeful German woman to save her cat so these soldiers can be attacked by a gang of vengeful German women. The second episode will have to be a vast improvement for the rest of the series to watchable.

Good period costumes and scenes but that's where it ends, the rest is just dull feminist rubbish

A dull, confusing, politically correct view at the start of World War 2 from different peoples perspectives.

Fleming (2014)

What a waste of time

I cant believe people were giving this series a rating five or above. Poor story line, poor characters the costumes and some of the period building etc were well done the rest was a load of rubbish. Save your money, your time and watch something.

Dunkirk (2017)

Its not the Great War Movie thats Raved about.

Starts off as some British soldiers running through Dunkirk from German Soldiers we never ever see, through some French manned barricades they then end up on the beach with supposedly thousands of other British Soldiers. The rest of the film is basically the same scene through the eyes of different people the Army, Airforce, the rescue ships and a very small part the British Navy - watch the Army guys ditch their weapons so quickly when they come under German fire, watch the Channel anchored Navy Ship get bombed by the German Airforce with little to none anti aircraft fire. There's plenty in this leaving you ask where was the German Army the British were running from, battle scenes that make no sense - this isn't a War film for you if you liked Saving Private Ryan, Enemy at the Gates or even the older ones like Where to Eagles Dare.
