Almost ALL of the scenes involving anything "other" than a white trash felon giving a narrative are Hollywood garbage. Folks, do you REALLY think the cameras were "magically" there and filming all this as it was happening? Grow up.
This yet another Netflix piece of crap idealizing the worthless people violating the law and the law enforcement agency "perceived" as uncaring and incompetent. I hope Netflix gets sued "again" for producing this absolute crap.

It was fairly well written. Not "completely" dumbed down like most every production on the screen.
Like MANY other viewers noted, Ellen Page needs to find a new career. She brings MAJOR negativity to every thing she is involved in. ...bring in the hate; but PLEASE, can we not have at least ONE attractive female in this show?! So many characters and not one single female you would like to see naked.
As others have mentioned, it's kinda boring. Oddly enough, there seems to be a lot of action and things are moving at a moderate pace, yet it's still boring as hell.

I read the reviews and endured through season 1 and half of season 2...reluctantly.
I inadvertently began watching season 3 while halfway through season 2. Didn't even realize it. That's because EVERY episode is the same boring crap. I didn't even realize I had missed the continuity. The storyline is EXACTLY the same. With the SAME boring characters every episode.

Some people rated this a 10. I have never seen an actual 10. I have viewed some outstanding movies the last 30 years...never a 10. A ten is perfect. No room to improve anything. Some people rated this absolute pile of crap a 10.
The movie begins with the total loser lead role breaking into people's cars. If you have ever returned to your car and found someone had broken in and stolen from you, then you will agree these people should be shot. We are expected to watch this movie rooting for this complete and total asshole?

So...the moment I recognized Alysa Milano I left the room. My wife dragged me back, acknowledging that Milano's recent political narratives clearly define her as a lunatic.
Forgetting Milano...or trying to get that rancid taste from my mouth, the movie was STUPID.
Emma Roberts is definitely a hottie, regretfully that's not enough to carry a movie written by an 8 year old.

The professional critics didn't agree with the manner in which the movie was "spliced" into individual segments. Whatever...
There were some slow, drawn out periods of the movie that left time for soda refills and bathroom breaks.
It's worth watching. You won't regret the 2 hours you invest in this flick. There are MANY movies out there with much higher ratings that aren't even comparable to this film.

Great cinematography, great acting...no story or plot. Extremely slow movie. Was relieved when it FINALLY ended.
...one footnote; they left Portland on a long bus ride, then eventually continued in a semi truck. After this exhausting journey the driver of the semi says, "we are entering Washington." Portland is 6.5 miles from the Washington border?! Did they drive in a 6 mile loop for two days?

I confirmed my faith in IDMB ratings; they aren't worth a ducks fart. This movie is rated low and yet it was waaayyy entertaining. I will never ever ever watch another movie based upon IDMB. The high rated movies are most often crapola and you take a chance on a low level gem like this and BAM! Worth the watch. ...having crazy animal sex with his sister is gonna keep me up tonight though...

Here we go...this is a solid 1 movie. Some people rated it a 10. These are people fresh out of Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen...and God only knows where else, who have NEVER before seen a movie or tv show. A sip of water in a desert may seem like champagne to me. IDMB needs to find a way to properly screen people, otherwise their app is absolutely crapola.

The book was pretty awesome. The movie was entertaining and certainly worth watching. They are two separate entities that will never mesh, so don't bother with the comparisons.
I laughed pretty hard at some of the other harsh reviews. These people have no touch with growing up in the eighties so they don't get it AT ALL. The 80's totally rock and the Millenials will just have to wait for their own movie.

I expected this to be the typical outdoor/survival program. Boy oh boy was I wrong! This one stands out. This is a "parody" of a survival show, and the characters don't seem to realize it! The Nat Geo narrator sounds like Yogi Bear talking to Boo Boo. These folks are the most ignorant simpletons you will EVER meet in your life. They couldn't find their way out of a paper bag, and that's what makes this show worth watching. They are dressed like cartoon characters...green felt outfit...little red riding hoods jacket...At some level you began to realize that it has to be scripted and these morons are actors, cuz they would have starved to death and died after the first episode if it were real.

I finished it as an athlete would finish a marathon. Exhausted, in pain and longing for sustanance.
It was a cold dark series with little to cheer for and not much reason to continue on with.
The characters were well defined with great depth, and yet I can't remember a single one that I found likeable.
My best advice is to not start this series. It left me feeling dreary for the two weeks it took to finish it. I can breath a huge sigh of relief. I can move on to something that lifts my spirits and puts a smile on my face. I'm so excited about that opportunity that I think I will start with a colorful cartoon to wash the dark clouds away. Good luck should you take this path. You will need it.

I truly don't intend to offend...however, I'm not Jewish, nor a female and the 57 Chevrolet is the only thing I know of that era. I tried to watch with an open mind but I can't follow half of what's supposed to be witty because it's Jewish satire. Seems like a series with an agenda of breaking down female stereotypes of that generation and pro women's rights. More power to ya, I'll stick with Star Trek and Sports Center.
