Disturbing As Hell!

This movie is exactly what you hope for.

Suspenseful the whole way through, great acting, great production qualities.

Does anyone watch a scary movie and find themselves disappointed by the ending? All the time!

I can't watch Yellowstone's "Beth" the same way after watching this movie.

For me, it got me into it straight away, the gradual build up of the plot was intense. The way the the whole cast acted it was perfect!

I recommend it to anyone who is tired of watching the usual cliched happy ending Hollywood rubbish thrillers, who want to watch something that's scary and they'll never forget.

Not Worth It

Slow, boring and cheap. I thought it might be good based off the snippet Netflix shows as it's equivalent of a trailer, but it's not.

Could've at least had a decent soundtrack.

The first half was watchable. We gave up 22 minutes before the end.

Sooooooo bad it's impossible to watch
18 April 2022
It came up as a suggestion on YouTube. Started watching a free version but the dubbing was too out of whack (the actors were saying something but the sound came out two seconds later).

The cover displayed a super cute Joel Rush and it also starred Ray Wise and Sean Astin. Those factors combined with it being a gay themed movie - can't go wrong! WRONG! Paid $6 to rent this on YouTube, it was honestly the first movie we'd paid for on YouTube and couldn't finish.

The pre-mentioned dubbing issue carried over to the rented version.

Jennifer Elise Cox is ok in one or two scenes in a movie but she produced this and tried to be the lead.

Massive NO NO. She's terrible!

Don't even attempt it!

Many good points

For a low budget thriller/horror this film was not at all bad.

Yes the acting didn't start off too good, but that was also due to some poor script writing (dialogue wise) and directing.

It got off to a quick start though and as the film progressed, the acting improved significantly.

The blood and gore throughout the movie was really well done, and the production quality was great from start to end.

The suspense was great the whole way through, and the ending wasn't predictable and had a clever/unexpected ending. There were no slow, boring patches.

With some better initial dialogue, a more experienced director to begin with, and a better cast that could be more convincing from the start, this film would have been amazing. As it was it's a really good watch and worthwhile fun and was done extremely well for the budget.

Bad!

Why cast a woman aged in her early 30s in the lead role of a 17yo? That's just the start! Don't waste your time on this rubbish.

Enjoyed every minute & the acting!

I started the movie thinking it'd put me to sleep nicely. Amazing acting from the two leads. The plot was awesome! I love a movie that makes you get your feet on the couch so they don't get bitten/off. I said to my hubby after about 10 minutes "whoever hires this chick (the lead chick) for a major movie/role is gonna be happy". I might've seen the two leads on something before, I don't know. Either way, they were fantastic!

Great plot twist & Great acting
30 March 2020
I thought it could possibly be a "The Hand That Rocks The Cradle" type rip-off. Fortunately it wasn't.

Original storyline, not typically predictable - nice plot twist.

Really good acting from all four of the main cast. I particularly enjoyed Todd Cahoon's performance and hope to see him get a lot more work.

One of the better Lifetime movies I've seen, for sure.

Not the original, but still great!

I went into this with low expectations. The original was a masterpiece and I'd read a couple of bad reviews about the sequel. Was stoked to see Martin Henderson was one of the leads. No, not as good as the original, but on its own right, a great, we'll acted movie.

Great Flick but not scary
21 August 2017
I was pleasantly surprised by this cool indie flick. Great acting and a good story line which was obviously left open to a sequel. Whilst it was pretty good on the suspense level, any reviews that you read which make out like this is a movie that will make you jump.......hmmmmmmm....nah. Hoping for a sequel though.
