America's Test Kitchen: Quick Fish Dinners (2022)
Food processor ratings make zero sense.
This is a review of the equipment test portion of the video. Wow. Every year they score the Cuisinart the winner no matter what. This year the 14 cup model failed the mayo test because the bottom blade is too high. The Breville aced every test (their words in the video) but did not win. On the ATK web site, they describe the Cuisinart as "acing every test". What gives here?
Their equipment tests used to be awesome, they would typically show at least some rankings and point out the pluses and minuses for each brand tested. There are some other European brands of food processors that have never been tested by ATK.
Patagonia: Life on the Edge of the World: The Desert Coast (2022)
Awesome Images
I give the program 4/10 only because of the narration. Pedro Pascal is one of my favorite actors and we were looking forward to this series. Unfortunately you cannot even tell it is him talking. He sounds more like a computer generation. The filming is great and the first episode shows things I have never seen before such as the horrific squid boats.
FBI (2018)
Second Review for this Horrible Show
For some reason my first review does not appear. Almost too many negatives to list. From Jeremy Sisto yelling, to Missy and her horrible hair, to the dreary music. Nothing redeeming about this show. Bad acting, bad script and bad dialogue take their toll every week.
Star Trek: The Man Trap (1966)
He's dead Jim
Typical of the original Star Trek episodes where everything eventually revolves around Captain James T. Kirk. Great fun to watch Shatner overact in nearly every scene.
The Mentalist (2008)
One of my Favorites
Other than a serious glitch with the Red John character I loved the show. The first 5 seasons were the best, it was a shame they screwed it up with Red John. Simon Baker was at his best when playing mind games with everyone. We just got done binge watching all 7 seasons.
Edit. In the middle of watching the series for the third time. I could not help notice the ridiculous acting by Robin Tunney. When she walks her hands are often flailing around, maybe that is why she usually has them in her pockets while walking. When she is standing still she holds her arms out as if she was trying to fly. When she talks she moves her head up and down, usually awkwardly lowering her head when done talking.
I noticed her weird motions the first time I watched the show but I was typically focused on Simon Baker to think twice about her performance. Doing a search I found I was not the only one who thought she was probably one of the worst actresses ever.
