As the World Turns: Episode dated 16 August 2006 (2006)
Skye Blue?
A few episodes back, there was a new girl introduced named Skye Blue and I was wondering if she's going to be back on the show. She was introduced as a friend of Gwen and she was babysitting for Carly's children. She seemed so sweet and both my daughter and I liked her so much and we don't always agree on the actors and characters. Her look was also different, not drastically, but enough to be of interest. All of the other "teens" on the show seem to look alike. And I must tell you that Carly just seems to get more and more beautiful but I hope that her children will be included more because it gives more dimension to her character. Thanks ,
Abominable (2006)
Keeps you on the edge of your seat !
ABOMINABLE is a rare combination of edge of your seat suspense and creative sensible writing. From the moment the movie begins, you feel as though you are in the scenes with the cast. The setting is both beautiful and eerie at the same time. The direction and music keep the suspense building while providing moments where you feel as though you cannot take the suspense for one more minute. Then BANG, it scares you out of your seats. And then it starts all over again. There are moments when you can actually take a breath but not for too long before the suspense builds again. The acting is GREAT! I can't wait to see it again..........
Mind the Gap (2004)
heartwarming,sweet nostalgic film
This film has an eclectic cast of characters who could be substituted for many people you know in your own life (the belligerent elderly gentleman, the sweet helpful blonde, the bitter divorcée,the singer who just needs a break, the bitter father(s),the kooky personalities, etc. I would have liked a little more character development of the divorced father. The music was fabulous and I will definitely get the singer's c.d. when out. The film was both heartwarming and poignant and I really enjoyed it. The trailer made me want to see it. Who's the beautiful blonde that attempts to help him cross the street? Kooky, funny, heartwarming, nostalgic film. Sad that this was Alan King's last movie.
