Great Festive Fun

I am a daily user of IMDB and have been for more years than I care to remember. I have alway felt a synergy with the review/rating system and to date have been broadly in agreement, often choosing not to watch a poorly reviewed film.

It appears that this is the movie that has finally divided opinion. Despite the negative reviews my wife and I decided to give it a go and I am so glad we did.

The movie has a great cast and delivered exactly what we want from a Christmas movie, escapist feel good entertainment and a good laugh.

Perhaps the other reviewers watched a different movie to me but the Father Christmas is Back film I saw is well worth a watch.

Four Kids and It (2020)

Just unwatchable

The family were all looking forward to watching this whilst in lockdown. The first 20 minutes were just dreadful and our kids, aged 14 and 12, and my wife all agreed to give up on it. Maybe it gets better, but to us, the first 20 minutes represented everything that's wrong with parenting and filmmaking.

Honestly, if you did nothing else for a month you couldn't come up with a worse ending!

What a dreadful waste and a fantastic opportunity missed.

Refreshingly different and very funny

What a gem. Great characters and some really funny moments. My wife and I loved it and hope there will be more episodes to come.
