I have more opportunities to watch TV than my husband. We like a lot of the same things so if I start watching something good, I will often stop and add it to the shows we watch together. About the only thing I end up watching alone is horror, real forensic shows, and anything about home interiors. The i-land falls into a rarely used category of shows that are simply background noise. I consider it a mindless filler. There is no point in thinking about the plot, it's terrible. You won't care about the characters because the acting is awful. It is just something to have on when you don't really want to pay attention.

Really dislike a film with supernatural elements left unexplained. Am I supposed to do their job? We aren't expecting, nor would the world appreciate, a sequel, so wtf is the back story?

Season 1 was pretty terrible but I was certain they would not try the same BS again. I was wrong. It's really sad to know that loved ones had their hopes raised by the incompetent boob posing as a real detective. He should be charged with a crime.
