Matthew 18 (2014)

Bad acting, proposerous characters, bad dialogue
9 May 2024
First you have two black parents and their daughter is Latina. Next, the daughter is sitting around with fake eye lashes listening to rap, but supposedly got into every college she applied to including Georgetown. But she decides to go to the University of Minnesota, which she everyone elsd is saying that's the best college, but the acceptance rate is 75 percent. Her family is saying she's going away to college for a few years and coming back a doctor. That's not how it works. I guess the writers have no idea what a good college is or to become a doctor, you need 4 years of colleges, 4 or more of medical school and then residency. But hey let's just call a teenage girl a doctor. They put even less effort in getting the actors to do more than read their lines with no emotion. Nothing makes sense. The family is upper middle class, but the girl has to live in a house thats rent-free instead of living in a dorm on campus. All the friends she meets are so ghetto. You'd never believe they were college students. All dialogue sounds like characters are making it up on the spot. Nothing happenens for most of the movie but characters ad-libbing lines. Nothing happens until some ridiculous thing at the end. This movie is like a high school project.

The Grey Area (2017– )

The movie a Jr. High student would make
21 March 2022
This so called movie, isn't a movie at all. It's several few minute clips. It's exactmy rhe kind of movie a jr high student might make for a class assignment. The acting is nonexistent. It's as if a bunch of complete amateurs said let's to an impromptu film project. I've never written a review, but this was so ridiculous, I had to! There are no stories, just set-ups. I can't believe that any of the people involved in The Grey Area will ever do anything in cinema again. This is the kind of film that kids would make for fun. This isn't even high school assignment caliber, but it's really something a 12 or 13 year old would make!
