What?
15 June 2020
After a little over half way through I started getting real confused as to what kind of movie I was watching. I thought I had a good take on it, then it started turning five different directions at once. One minute everyone's buddies the next everyone's at each others throats, the next we're all buddies again. I was really lost. The. People start ranting at the camera for like 10 minutes. It made no sense.

It does have its funny monuments.

All I could think was Tina Fey and Steve Carrell in date. Scene after scene is essentially a direct adaptation from date night. Only I thought they did it better.

Made for China
15 December 2019
This movie undoubtedly sucks, but I think it was clearly made for Chinese audiences. There's even a scene where Ryan Reynolds curses an "Stupid American made" phone . They seem to love Michael bay for some reason. As others have mentioned it's editing is very confusing, and there isn't much plot to go on.

The end credits are the funniest part. If you just skip all the "movie" parts and watch the 2 minute interviews you'll be better off.

Why do these projects get funded?
5 June 2019
It's all kinds of stupid. It's trying really hard to be all the blockbuster combined, and it sucks. Also the use of child romance is pretty disturbing for to me. One kid is embarrassed to admit he's a virgin, and at another point the female kids says "one of you can sleep with me". It's just a really uncomfortable movie to watch.

Why though
8 April 2018
I thought it was a well enough made movie, it had competent acting, interesting sets, and a compelling if not repetitive story. I just don't get why our outlook on the future always has to be so bleak. Why can't we make movies that end with humanity coming together to solve its problems. Netflix seems to want to hammer into people with movies like this and their new titan movie, that the future is hopeless and the only chance of survival is to leave Earth.

Anti American Crap
11 March 2018
It's like the move wanted to say "America was bombed, but that's ok, cause they're bad anyways, terrorists aren't really bad they're just misunderstood", and with that line of logic everything those terrorists fight for is worth while too. We had legitimate reasons for bombing all the countries listed, several times, in this crap movie. With any luck this stupid overacted movie will fade into obscurity never to be seen again.
