Försvunnen (2011)

Noob Hunter

Hi there,

the story of the movie is very simple.

There are some things in the movie I don't understand. The man who kidnapped the woman is a serial killer in my understanding because he told the kidnapped woman that she isn't the first one in his little jail.

So he is a serial killer. There were two scenes the serial killer was shooting and hitting the victims. One was the hit of the man that helps the woman. The hunter wasn't far away. The woman gets the hitted man and gets him behind a big rock. So why wasn't the hunter follow and get them both?

Another scene was: the woman ran away. The hunter hitted her with a sniper rifle and the woman was not far away from him. She crawled behind a rock. But WTF was the hunter do? Was he drinking a coffee or watching a movie until he gets back to meet the woman on the big meadow? He could simply walk to her and get her. She was only a few meters away. That's no serial killer that's a ridiculous noob.

The end was pure dilletantism. The woman had no problems to bear down this weak dilletante bungler. So this has absolutely nothing to do with reality.

I was wishing that the serial killer had more intelligence so that the woman had to do much more interesting things to win at the end.

In one scene the woman was lying in the car of the serial killer and phoned the police in his car while he was driving with his phone. There were no music in the car but he wasn't hearing anything. My goodness you can't be serious about that. That's so ridiculous.

Boring and lack of content

I thought this could be an interesting enjoyable exciting movie. But it was a disappointment. Especially the end of the film was unnecessary protracted. You have to watch so much minutes without action.

I had a notion that the action parts of the movie were very dilettante. A group of children without any plan and skills did some dangerous things. Normally they would have no chance against anybody with this kind of behavior.

The guy Mitch had often such a meaningless facial expression. I don't know what I should feel about this sparing of words guy.

All in all it was a boring movie without good action parts and I think the story could be told in much less time. The story could be told in circa 70 minutes.

The Ledge (2011)

A great movie

I really like this movie. There wasn't a minute in this movie which was boring. My girlfriend wanted to go to bed. Usually she goes if she is tired. But this movie enchained her. We couldn't stop watching it. The thing is you want to know why this guy is standing on the roof and why he intends to jump down to die.

The way the movie tells the story is well done. Great actors, great discussions about believing in god or not, surprising darker depths of the human soul, nice Love Story are the elements that make this movie worth seeing. Sometimes the movie is a bit philosophic but that's good and interesting.

This movie asks questions like "Do you believe in god?", "Do you become a better human being if you believe in god?", "Are you really happy?" or "What would you do for love?".

The only thing I could say now is that I absolutely advise you to watch this movie if you like this stuff I described.

Sweatshop (2009)

Pure waste of time

I have seen a lot of movies in my life. Sometimes the movies were bad. But this movie is one of the worst movies I ever saw in my whole life.

I borrowed the movie and I was looking forward for thrill. What I got was a complete disappointment. The dialogs are extremely bad and lowest level. It all comes down to sex and alcohol. The actors were extremely low-level without any good acting performance. The movie location looks very low priced. If you watch the cut version you will get almost nothing to see. In cut version you have to resign nearly 10 minutes.

The best thing of the movie was the makeup of the both hammer guy girlfriends from my opinion.

This movie broadcasts pure boredom. If you really don't like someone you have to present this guy with this movie for birthday.

3 Musketeers (2011 Video)

Not good and not awful

This movie was somewhat amusing. If you don't expect intelligent dialogs, awesome special effects and top-class actors you can watch this movie. Switch-off your brain and watch.

The story is a typical good and bad thing without surprises. There are some would-be hackers with very unrealistic hacking methods, some would-be fighters, boring fighting scenes and a lot of low-level special effects at which I have to say that I have seen worse effects in other movies.

I really liked the charisma of Alexandra D'Artangan (Heather Hemmens) and Isaac Athos (Xin Sarith Wuku). But most of the actors are completely lacking in acting performance. The bad guy Treville the Cardinal (Alan Rachins) is an inflexible old guy and simply not credible as a bad guy from my opinion.

The camera work is awful. Too much switching (close, distant, close, distant...).

All things considered the involved parties tried hard too make a movie with good effects but unfortunately they didn't managed it.

Snow Beast (2011)

No Movie you have to see

I think this was one of the most boring movies I ever saw. No good special effects and a boring story. This movie must have been very cheap. This was like this old Chinese or Japanese Godzilla movies. A human in a low priced costume and a low priced film location. That's why the movie appears not be scary rather a little bit funny. I don't know if the movie is able to get someone scared except a little kid who doesn't be allowed to watch this movie. Always they take a weapon they don't load it until the beast stands in front of them. Why it is so necessary to be so unprepared if you know that there is a dangerous creature which waits to kill you? The way the beast kills people is always unspectacular. I don't like the dialogs. They are unpretentious from my opinion.
