Furious 7 (2015)

Too good! Mind Blowing! Brilliant!

Furious 7 is definitely living up its name - Furious. A good movie keeps you excited at first, WOW in the middle & OMG in the end. & this is exactly what you will get in this movie. Furious 7 is so wild, engaging & exciting from the beginning till the very end.

Before seeing it, I was super curious to know how the horror movie director - James Wan was going to direct his first high budget action packed movie. In my deepest honest opinion, James Wan did a really good job. :)

I'm not gonna mention in very detail, but every single element that a movie should have, has it in Furious 7. Every thing just works. The comedy, the love story, the actions etc just work so well. It's totally unbelievable how a car chasing movie like Fast & Furious could lead to a mind blowing actions movie, & it gets better from scene to scene.

The best thing is that all scenes are unpredictable & keep you 'woahh' the whole time. There are so many things going on & every single character was portrayed really well. For a moment i thought i was watching Avengers!

Lastly, the ending scene is really heart-warming. What a good way to end & remember Paul. You'll be missed, Paul Walker!

RoboCop (2014)

Watchable But Not Too Great

I was definitely expecting much from this popular movie remake but came out from the theater feeling lost and disappointed. The technology, weapons and stuff were great but the director did not tell the story as intense as it should be.

After elaborating the story & building the characters in the movie for the first hour, the audience would naturally be expecting a mind blowing peak or probably a full blast of action scenes. It had those peaks but it just wasn't great enough to 'wow' me. The emotional scenes weren't that great. The action scenes were short and not much intensity.

Overall, It was still an entertaining movie though, considering the acting, script and story were quite smooth. My advice? Don't expect too much twist & surprise element before you watch it.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014)

Moderately Enjoyable To Watch

All in all, the story line, chronology, acting etc in this movie are okay, but too cliché as most scenes are predictable. Keira Knightley does not portray a natural chemistry in her role as a girlfriend or mission assistant. I find the awkwardness of her scenes has drowned the tension & intensiveness of the movie.

At a positive view, Jack Ryan (Chris Pine) did a pretty good job. His cool, humorous kind of charisma paid off in this movie. There were some scenes where I actually felt funny & LOL.

My initial vote for this movie was '5' & he is the reason why I added '1' more vote.
