Title: A Disappointing Descent into Arrogance and Obsolescence
Review: It's profoundly disheartening to witness a show that once held promise, degenerate into a showcase of arrogance and self-privilege, as exemplified by its central figure. The protagonist's demeanor reeks of unapologetic intimidation, which, rather than adding depth to her character, serves only to alienate the audience. This overbearing attitude, far from being a subtle character flaw, is thrust into the forefront, tainting every episode with its jarring presence.
Moreover, the show, which might have been groundbreaking at its inception, now feels painfully outdated. What was once cutting-edge now seems out of touch, failing to evolve with its audience or the changing societal norms. This stagnation is not just a matter of aesthetics or technology, but more crucially, of mindset and narrative structure. The show's inability to grow and adapt leaves it mired in a past era, its message and impact dulled by the passage of time.
In conclusion, what could have been a timeless classic is reduced to a relic, a reminder of what happens when arrogance and self-privilege override artistic integrity and relevance. The show's decline serves as a cautionary tale for other productions, underscoring the importance of humility, adaptability, and connection with the audience.
An Action Hero (2022)
A movie that has great starting and ending with a hollow center
You will love it 30 mins, hate it for next hour and love the last 15 to 20 mins. Great background score, good choice of cast, good direction but story falls short. Screenplay needed lot more work to make it work better.
Despite the bad middle part, I think it's worth it. Like always great acting by ayushmann. Definitely see him doing justice to the role of the character and fits the image of action hero
Some hints of ayyapayyum Koshayum, Malayalam movie
I really wish this had more logical middle layer. Would have been a blockbuster.
PS: Don't fine logic in this movie. Watch it like you are watching sallu bhai movie.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022)
Good subject with cringy screenplay
Desperate, unrealistic. Over the moon action not adding to the story. Hero says one thing (eg: follow the law) and does something else (breaks hundred laws, hurts people).
Telegu audience need more balanced movies.
Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022)
What a disappointing script for a strong subject
The script, screenplay and story is a huge let down and Ranveer is the only one carrying the movie.
I wish the team spent time on the script than publicity. The first daughter character (not acting) is so annoyingly made I wanted to stop watching every time that character had screen time.
Instead of learning from mistakes, If the team feels an amazing movie failed box office like Bomman irani said, it's going to be downfall of the industry.
Simple stories needs strong script and great directors but this movie doesn't have them.
Peacemaker (2022)
Eagley and vigilante are my bff
It's so bad that I love it. Every character has a role and the jokes are along with the story. The pace of story is good, great visuals and John Cena and vigilante steals the show.
Definitely recommend.
Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (2021)
Great concept, disappointing storyline
The concept in itself was great with the Bollywood will to focus on trans community, but the drama driven script instead of focusing on problem and stigma revolving trans is heavily disappointing.
It's your normal rom-com script with few bits of heroine talking about trans.
Seetharaam Benoy Case Number Eighteen (2021)
Good acting and music for a bad storyline
Dragged beyond reason, misplaced emotions, thousands of loopholes for a mystery movie. Yes people have acted according to their roles and look natural, music good and decent camera work but the movie could have been done in 30 mins for the content they have.
Bheemasena Nalamaharaja (2020)
A good plot lost in direction and screenplay
The plot seems very interesting to begin with, but it's stretched too thin with concepts and styles of too many people. While we can see good actors, they fail to perform in important scenes due to bad screenplay. Too many irrelevant scenes filled, characteristics of actors which neither adds to the plot nor adds to humour.
Some
Spoilers ahead:
1. Movie about mental health but friend's mental health completely ignored
2. Doctor was supposed to be funny but given a serious role
3. Cooking was another central theme but it's hardly used in the cinema
4. That lady's past is useless
5. Forced costumes for the hero. Bheemasena shown as a fighter not a cook. Made to wear female make-up for one lame saree joke.
Ganeshana Madhuve (1990)
The movie that never gets old
This movie brings out the life of the, "then" middle class population which has series of comedies, relatable instances and a complete storyline.
