The Simpsons: Holidays of Future Passed (2011)
Welcome Back Simpsons
I can't believe this episode was good. I've hated a lot of Simpsons episodes, but this is a true masterpiece. Written by J. Stewart Burns co-writer of Futurama, his other episodes were good to OK, but this has to be his best episode! It's about 30 years into the future where Bart is a 40 year old recently divorced guy who lives in Springfield Elementary now a apartment with his two kids, and still acts 30 years younger then he is, and tries to connect with his children, but is unsuccessful. Lisa is a 38 year old businesswoman married to Milhouse who also tries to connect with her daughter, but is unsuccessful. And Maggie is a 31 year old rock star and is getting birth to a baby. I don't want to give a full perspective of what happened, but that is the concept of the episode. The reason why it's good is because Burns came up with a lot of good jokes for the show. Not only that, but there were parts that were sad. Also, the Ralph's Clones joke made me laugh for the first time watching a new episode of The Simpsons in 10 years. I would recommend this to everybody, especially a new Simpsons fan. If they keep this up, The Simpsons will return to Comedy Gold and escape Comedy Fail.
