Hawkeye: Echoes (2021) Season 1, Episode 3

A good episode ruined by crass display of WOKENESS

Hawkeye and Kate Bishop are great..the action scene was enthralling..the interaction between Kate and Hawkeye was fantastic..the episode had good sense of humor too but then disney decided to visit WOKELAND.. Introduce Maya..a new Mary sue villain who can kick anyone's ass from her childhood..she can beat the crap out of HAWKEYE because she has all the powers of pseudo feminism ..the older actress who played Maya was a horrible choice even though the younger one was quite good...btw the older MAYA let her male partner know.."she is the boss"..you get it ? FEMALE POWER !!!

Even if we ignore how the f in the world kate bishop became world class archer at such young age or how marvel heroes are now no longer likeable or saving people or the show was making a mockery of Jeremy Renner till episode 2...how the hell are we gonna tolerate this MAYA character in next 3 episodes ? I hope kingpin smashes her like hulk did with Loki what a awful road Disney MARVEL is choosing to go !

Homeland: 13 Hours in Islamabad (2014) Season 4, Episode 10

one of the best episode in the history of Television

Yup....it is.This episode is right there with all the biggies such as Ozymandius(Breaking bad) or rains of castemere(Game of thrones) or gateway(Dexter) or through the looking glass(Lost)...."13 hours to islamabad " is that good. Make no mistake....the entire season 4 is great and I thought nothing could top season one finale "Marine one" or last episode "There's something else going on" but I was so wrong. The episode started with a bang and ended with a tormenting cliffhanger that will haunt us for one more week.This episode was brutal,shocking,tensed,gritty,emotional,edge of the seat experience....I have felt such tension very few times while watching a TV series. The best thing about Homeland is it throws us right into this realistic,hyper tensed war zones and then pull back us and show us the after math.....this requires skill and This 42 min Embassy hostage drama in the most dangerous,hostile country in the world proved how much talented the entire Homeland team is! Who says only Carrie Mathison(Claire danes) can carry Homeland?We got superlative performance from everyone but this episode belongs to Rupert Friend....he was underused for so long time but he shined in this episode;I heard he will star in next Hit-man movie....well,he deserved it.. The direction,the music,the action....every bit was top notch.I would be surprised if this episode along with Director Daniel Attias didn't get golden globe/Emmy awards for this mind-blowing episode.

This is not just the beast season of homeland but it is one of the best TV seasons ever made....just watch this epic episode!

My rating 10/10.

Dhoom 3 (2013)

Dhoom 3...the best comedy movie of this year(Pun intended)

MY RATING 3/10.... The best thing about this movie is Katrina Kaif...wait...before you say,I've gone mad or nuts just let me finish!Kat had least part in this movie so she acted so little that she couldn't torture you enough but hey,this movie has Oscar-winning actors like Abhishek ,Uday and Jackie Shroff so cut her some slack. I didn't expect much and from the trailer, it was obvious that they are gonna rip Hollywood movie "now you see me" apart but I expected some fun moments,some cool moments like dhoom 1 and dhoom 2 but we have AAMIR "SERIOUS" KHAN here....He has a bad habit of destroying Christopher Nolan's movies....Memento(Ghajini) and now Prestige and he even referred JOKER frequently but he kept smug face throughout the movie like he has got constipation but still I need to ask Mr. Khan.... WHY SO SERIOUS? Yes,there are some beyond logic action scenes and nice locations out there and it was shot in IMAX so it looked great but what about the story?characters?dialogues? I knew it is dhoom series and I had to suspend my logical brain but how long can you tolerate the insult to your intelligence? They will never explain how he is robbing the banks....all you can see Mr. Khan breaking the windows ,dodging cops and the music starts...dhoooom machaleeeeeeeeeeeeeee...

I liked previous Dhoom villains like Kabir or Mr.A because they were born villains and it was their hobby but here in Dhoom 3....we have an emotional story that will never stir your emotion but will definitely make you cringe.

Me and my friends were laughing throughout the movie and someone told that aamir has finally joined notorious brainless "superhit" movie club by following footsteps of SRK and salman khan.

P:S: I'm requesting the bollywood movie makers to stop portraying foreign actresses in a cheap,vulgar way...we say a lot about respecting women in India and then we do these kind of acts in foreign lands....it needs to stop!

Elementary: Heroine (2013) Season 1, Episode 24

Simply Superb

I never thought elementary will be a great Sherlock Holmes series...I mean what do you expect when Watson is female and it is taking place in New York(Instead of Great Britain) but I'm happy I was wrong,This show is great and the two part finale is simply awesome.

Make no mistake...the finale will compel you to seat at the edge of your seat and with superb performances from Miller-Liu and the entire cast...it is worth of your time.

They built the relationship of Holmes-Watson slowly and that is the USP of this show and the finale of-course!

This Moriaty v/s Holmes saga is one of the best episodes I've seen this year.

If you haven't start watching ELEMENTARY yet,then start now...this show will surprise you,Just do not compare with other Sherlock series.This one is different and I meant it in a good way.

Good work elementary Team and I will be waiting for second season.

The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)

Good but could be lot better

Back in 2001,when first spiderman movie released,i had mixed feelings about that.I loved that sam raimi version but Toby wasn't the one I imagined as Peter Parker;But Andrew Garfield is just terrific as Peter but somehow director webb couldn't tell the story properly.

Well I loved the beginning,the different build up than previous films and obviously characters are more believable here.Be it Stunning Gwen Stacy(Emma Stone) or his uncle.Moreover,his angry teenage version quite better than nerdy peter we've seen so far.Webb created some AMAZING moments between peter and gwen but he mixed up three things.

First,he couldn't decide whether he should follow the basic storyline or create something of his own.....here's why we will miss several key points from comics and he tried to go through the basics too and so we started to feel'been there,seen before" feeling.

Second,The action scenes are good but could be better.If you are watching in 3D,then you will enjoy web swing but hey,THIS IS AVENGERS YEAR...so audience expect a lot more excitement, a lot more unpredictable thrill Third,Climax is rushed and the movie is dragged without a reason.Frankly,villain isn't as threatening as even green goblin.

But still you will enjoy this movie because Webb tried to tell the story in a very refreshing way and this is a younger and smarter spiderman.But it is the awesome performances from the main cast that lives up to your expectation.Andrew is best spidey...he is nerdy but brave,nervous but witty,young but aspirational and courageous new peter parker that we wanted to see for such a long time.Emma stone is way better than Kirsten Dunst.est of the cast is brilliant but Dr. Curt's character is not well written so we got an uneven performance from Rhys Ifans as Lizard.

Overall,a good film which could be a lot better(specially when you've so good director and a great cast)

Kick-Ass (2010)

I Wish kick ass would have been released in India

With no powers comes no responsibility..except that's not always true....

What more I can say about this movie!I'm completely blown away by this very different action /adventure/teen/romance/spoof movie.Seriously it's very hard to describe kick ass's genre.In starting it looks like a spoof cum teen superhero comedy like any other teen movie but as the movie goes up it shows it's potential.Director Mathew Vaughn gives Dave(Kickass) a unique characterization.He is normal geek,Wanna be cool guy who has a wicked friend group,He fantasizes about teacher yet loves a girl desperately.completely unnoticed by girls and being tired of his boring normal life he wishes that even abnormality is better than his daily average life.This pathos even has been portrayed so comically that it has many laugh out loud scenes.

But movie transforms into bloody,gory kill bill type genre as soon as he decides to be a vigilante.Though his initial days were not good,soon he got attention and becomes phenomenon.He teams up with a bunch of much more trained assassin cum superhero big daddy and hit girl who are determined to bring down mobster Frank.But the road is not easy.Kickass soon feels the heat to be an untrained, non gifted superhero.Will he continue? Can he finish his mission? can he get his love? is this possible to be a simple normal guy yet a vigilante cum superhero? Director Mathew brought Japanese style comic action with Tarrantino style bloody revenge drama mixed in a teen movie.You have not seen any thing like this in your entire life. He never becomes larger than life,yet it is so inspiring movie .much more than even spider man.You have to wonder how basically a sex cum teen movie has so many good shades that includes Breathtaking action( specially the when kick ass fights with 3 mobs at a while and climax where hit girl and kick ass attacks whole mob gang like matrix),Powerful dialogs, beautiful cinematography, awesome songs( specially theme song and the score when hit girl attacks wearing a night vision), amazing special effects and yes.awesome acting from a bunch of youngsters like Aaron,Chloe.The real show stealer is hit girl .no doubt! The best thing about this movie is it's so much non serious yet it has a heart and for god's sake.it's not a spoof.It is one of the best superhero movie ever made(counting the dark knight)...mark my word.

I wish Indian audience could see this thrilling ride named KICKASS.But it didn't release here.Kickass has been unnoticed by not only in India but also outside. But in future it will be called as cult action-teen movie which failed to draw attention at that time.
