Objective or Striving for Sympathy?
15 December 2003
While I found this film truly entertaining, it seemed to strive toward getting the sympathy of the viewer. I found myself thinking, "poor Stacy...", when in the end, she chose this way of life and can get out whenever she pleases. That was the strange thing about this documentary, it was not at all objective and seemed to be a way to make Stacy look like a poor girl who got stuck in this career. It was sad to see how she thought about her self image. those callogen implants looked terrible, and her breasts were so large it was sickening. (even after the reduction to the DD from an E), and in all honesty, I couldn't tell the difference after she had liposuction done on her thighs. Why is this?? She was already a petite, gorgeous woman before she had to go and mess with her body.

Overall, I found this film interesting and gave it a 7/10.

Cast Away (2000)
Worst Piece of Hollywood Crap
1 October 2003
This is by far the WORST film I have ever seen. I have to admit, it went from bad to worse. I nearly shut the film off once Hanks' character got blood on a soccer ball and then named it Wilson. From that point on I was just so lucky to experience Hanks talking to and having quite emotional arguments with "Wilson"...interesting. This was just a lame movie. It took everything I had to finish watching it, and when I was done my eyes hurt from rolling them so much. I can't believe Hanks' still has a career after this horrible film!!

Diabolique (1955)
AMAZING!!
1 October 2003
This is perhaps one of the greatest suspense thrillers of all time!! Of course, it runs a close tie with Hitchcock's Vertigo, of which I am particularly fond, but this film has a Hitchcock feel to it. It definatly strikes me as a film that Hitchcock would have done had Clouzot not gotten to it first!! This film leads you in one direction then when you least expect it, it just totally changes the course of action. It's the ultimate in suspense films, and completely unpredictable. I have this on DVD and would say that no matter how many times I watch it, I still can't get over how well written the story is!! And Simone Signoret acts her role beautifully, Clouzot couldn't have chosen a better actress.
