It's a cute film...
30 September 2015
However, something was missing.

And I just love romantic comedies!

I might be wrong, but I think what was lacking was genuine emotion, and chemistry between the couples who were supposed to end up together - it is clear from the start who will end up with whom, but I just couldn't really feel it between them. It felt a bit fake and forced upon them.

Overall, it is a cute little film, relaxing and in the end, it makes you feel good.

I definitely encourage you to give it a chance, it is a good pastime for a lazy evening. :)

Worth watching... and listening (some spoilers)
7 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
It is most certainly not the best movie I have ever seen, but I still do not understand why so many low votes and disappointed comments. Maybe it has something to do with the ending of the movie, because it's an open one, and it leaves the conclusion(s) to the viewers. We don't know what happens next, we don't know if they end up together, I guess everyone will decide on their own and choose an ending they prefer.

I loved the movie precisely because of the ending. It is more real that way, and therefore it is not just another happy end romantic movie. The music is amazing, and the movie itself has a soul, which is, for me, the most important requirement for a good movie. It is the story about a human drama, about life and family, about all the perks of having one. It is about meeting someone accidentally, when you least expect it, and all of the sudden you find yourself in the story of your life, without even being aware. Once it is all over, you learn how to cherish those moments, and you keep them as the precious ones. Because it has been worth it. Those who have been through stories like this will know what I'm talking about, and what this movie talks about. And they will catch a glimpse of themselves in this movie and its characters, and smile or cry in the name of old days and old loves.

Puts a smile on your face...
25 April 2013
Such a warm, wonderful movie! There is nothing superficial or artificial about the story or characters: they are all ordinary people who had their paths crossed by pure chance and happened to connect to each other in very profound ways. The story feels real, the characters too - you could say they are real, since I'm sure that all of us have in our surroundings one of these people; and one can really connect to the story on some level at least, if not on all - for me, it looks exactly like something I would do. The plot is simple, but significant and deep, full of life, life at its liveliest - you can actually feel how it pulsates throughout the movie.

I really loved this movie! It doesn't make you laugh, but it makes you smile with all your heart; it doesn't make you sob, but my eyes watered a bit at some points. And I honestly recommend it to everyone, especially those who seek to feel warmth wrapping around their hearts... I don't know why, but the setting and the atmosphere reminded me of my childhood, perhaps that is why I liked it that much... Watch and enjoy! :)
