Ant and the Wasp is the 20th entry into the MCU universe. Does it compare to the last three MCU releases (Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther, Infinity War) NO! However, it provides a great, exciting time in the movie theater. I thought the best part of the movie was Wasp played by Evangeline Lilly. And Paul Rudd's relationship with his daughter Cassie. I loved how they extended all the possibilities of Pym's technology in the movie. The comedy worked for me for the most part. My flaw with this movie is that it gets a little conventional. Certain people are placed in the movie for no particular reason. Despite this, Ant and the Wasp is good fun if you are a fan of the MCU.

Sicario: Day of the Soldado
(2018)
Intense Thriller

Sicario: Day of the Soldado turns out to be a worthy sequel to a film that I never imagined would become a franchise in Sicario. Sicario the original was one of my favorite films of 2015. It was a cold, smartly executed thriller that can kept me on the edge of my seats to the last second. Day of the Soldado maintains that feeling for the most part. Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin turn in great performances again. This one may not attract everyone because it is dark and brutal.
The Franchise That Keeps Getting Better

For a pure action movie that film is outstanding. Every action sequence is performed with incredible precision and poignancy. Tom Cruise just keeps raising the bar in every one of these movies. Henry Cavill was an awesome addition to this film. The rest of the supporting cast is great. Only flaw it has is that in the 2nd act the writing can become a little boggled down. However, it is the best Mission Impossible movie yet, and I don't know how they can top it.
