Skate of Mind (2010)
Only in Israel
It's good. Very good. It could only be better by being longer. We only get a short glimpse into the lives of these two amasingly enlightened teenagers, but what a perfect one that is!
If you LOVE skateboarding and Israel, then it's a _must_.
You know what, it's a _must_ even if you love neither! We all can learn very important life lessons from the painfully unexperienced and beautifully naive heroes of the movie.
What more can be said? Seriously, just watch it. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Otherwise, the editing is perfect. I really like how efficient it is - there's not even a 1 second of wasted space. Cinematography is perfect as well; it's almost impossible to tell who's holding the camera when; sometimes even the heroes themselves take a knack! It's not scripted; like it should be in the true tradition of skateboarding. Sound? Well, just listen to the bit where they overlay the hero's attempt at Slash with Slash himself.
