This was an amazing show! It's too bad they canceled it after only the first season! If only they'd continued it, imagine what could have happened?! Specially between Angela and Jacob. Compared to the movie it was based on, I liked the show much better because she had constant help that didn't die early in the show, and you get to find out who her invisible online helper is, which will surprise anyone who hasn't see the show yet. Another character is added near the end, an FBI agent who becomes a constant character. I won't tell you why, since I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it. The show is now finally out on DVD in other countries and will, hopefully, make it to the states. All fans of the show should make sure the DVD releases here in the states. Over all, it was a great show, and her sidekick, now in the show CSI, was amazing too! lol, great show, see it when it comes out on DVD! It's a must see!

This is my all time favorite TV show!!!! Definitely a must see show!!! Do whatever you can to watch it!!! Find someone who taped it, buy the DVD's online, whatever, you will love this show!!! Brooke Langton does a truely awesome job playing Angela Bennett!!! And Eric Szmanda, is the best actor on TV!!! Jacob makes a great "supporting character/sidekick" for Angela. This is a great drama, showing more of the characters than the movie did. Here, you really get to know Angela, you get to see how much she wants to get rid of the Praetorians, but, that she still has a heart when it comes down to it. One really awesome show!!! Still my favorite after all these years!!!!

Maybe it didn't help that I saw the TV show first when that came out in 1998, but over all, I think the show was better than the movie. Sure Sandra Bullock is a great actress, but I think she's better in other movies myself. The movie lacked the show's closeness with all the characters, the good guys and the bad guys. We never really got to know anyone up close, not even Angela, which made it kind of hard to understand. It also seemed to jump around a lot, from one place to another without connecting anything. Over all, I think they could have done a much better job, taking out half the characters that were supposedly on her side, which ended up dead before the movie was half over. It was a good movie to some degree, but it required a lot of help, to make it even better. In the end, if you can, watch the TV show instead.

One heck of a great show!

This show was one of the best out there, while on the air. And, I think it still is. The first three seasons, staring Rick Rossovich, Paula Tricky, Darlene Vogle, Marcos Ferraez, and Jim Davidson, was the better of the five years the show was on air. The last two seasons, they kind of did go over board a little bit. Though some of the new characters such as Russ, Jamie, And Bobby, were a good addition, and wouldn't have harmed the show on their own, I think taking out Tony and Victor, and adding Monica was a terrible idea! That's what ruined the show in the end. But, overall, the first three seasons, were the best. Those five cops didn't just work together, they lived together. It seemed almost like a family, something you wouldn't see on most cop shows. They were awesome cops and great at their jobs. They even almost "laughed" at the regular patrols in their cars, because these guys patroling the beach on bikes could go places the cars couldn't, they could catch the bad guys the regular cops couldn't. I would definitely recommend watching this show, especially the first three seasons!!!

Please do not avoid this TV show!!!! It is one of the best ones out there!!! It's very down to earth and all about right versus wrong. If you like cop shows, westerns, a little karate, a little love intrest, and other fun stuff, then you'll like the show!!! In my opinion, it's one of the best shows out there and my all time favorite!!! The show also had great actors and actresses, some of my favorites in fact, and they all did a wonderful job!(Clarence Gilyard being my favorite actor!) In the end, all I can say to you, is check out the reruns and determine what you think about the show yourself. Once again, I say it's one of the best shows of all time!!!!
