An excellent documentary I found on Amazon Prime unfortunately I could only rent it and would have loved to own it on DVD. The cameras followed him with his wife and children On there travels. It also showed him in rehearsals and everything he puts into his performances. I recommend this to anyone that enjoys watching Charles

So wonderful to have some real talent on BBC
24 June 2020
Only seen the 1st three but so happy to see real actors and wonderful writing, I'm so sick of all the reality shows and repeat of films on all the channels it was enlightening to see such talent. I look forward to seeing the rest of the series and will add to this review at the end of the series.

Don't understand all the bad reviews
26 December 2019
I went to see this 20/12/2019 without seeing any of the reviews and loved it, went back again after reading the reviews and still loved it.I have seen the show. The original London cast then again in 1992 and then again at the London Palladium for the revival. The film was different there were aspects added not the same as the show. But for an entertaining evening it's excellent some of the performances are excellent Jennifer Hudson, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Francesca Hayward were wonderful. I have never liked Rebel Wilson and would have preferred someone else in the part. I loved the fact that the dancers were dancers. Please support this film!! It's great 💓
The Truth About Charlie
(2002)
An enjoyable film

I bought this dvd to add to my collection of Charles Aznavour and thoroughly enjoyed it, I had seen Charade years ago but watched this with an open mind and really enjoyed it. I re-watched Charade after and have to say they both had something, having Charles cameo singing was great. I would recommend this, it's an enjoyable couple of hours.
Paris au mois d'août

A wonderful romantic film set in Paris in the 60s
26 May 2019
I thoroughly enjoyed this film, having bought a dvd on the rerelease in 2019 after Charles Aznavour dying last year, it was a much simpler time with the innocence of the time coming through in the film. Charles Aznavour was wonderful as the doting husband left for the summer after his wife and children go on holiday. Susan Hampshire was enchanting as the young single girl working in Paris. To see Paris as it was and compare to now as all cities are over crowded with people and cars. I was fortunate to live in Paris in the early 70s and this brought back so many memories. I recommend this film to all ages, the young to see how life was back in the 60s and the older people to reminisce on how good we had it....
Les années campagne
(1992)
A Sweet Coming age Film
13 April 2019
I enjoyed the film which I had bought on DVD, it would have helped if there had been subtitles even in French. Sometimes they talk quickly so to have subtitles to read helps the dialogue. As the description says it's about a young man spending the summer with his grandparents. There are twists towards the end which I won't go into to not to ruin the film for you.
