I thought the Cece reveal was awful but this is just as bad if not worse. The fact that I wasted 7 years of my life watching a show about these girls getting attacked by Spencer's evil twin? Really? It's like that Oprah episode where everyone gets a car, except in this show everyone gets an evil twin!
The first half of the episode was just filler where everyone was getting married and having babies because that's such a simple way for the writers to convey that everyone "grew up". Just unoriginal as usual but that's Marlene for you. Then we finally get to Spencer's kidnapping, and I will admit that the scene where she thinks she;s looking at her reflection and the Spencer on the opposite end moves was a executed great. It would've been better if it was all Spencer's dream though because the reveal is just a cop-out. We've waited 7 years to figure out who was the Big A and instead of it being a character that we've known for all 7 years, the writers just throw in a new character with new plot lines and more unanswered questions. The British accent also added to how bad it all was.
Troian gave a great performance but the entire finale just fell completely flat. It was obviously rushed and not thought out whatsoever. And the fact that they recreated the first scene of Season 1 in the cabin with Addison and her "friends" almost hinting at a spin off? Yeah no thanks, never again! Can't believe a show that started off so strong has fallen this hard on its face.
