Morbius (2022)

Watch for its own story and enjoy the entertainment

Don't watch it for Marvel. This isn't the regular MCU story. It's not the Avengers or Spiderman. Stop hating on Jared Leto for no reason. It's not drug out like so many MCU movies are. This isn't a do-gooder in a fancy suit. It's not an alien that needs the sun yet is some invincible to everything but a green space rock.

Sit back and enjoy this movie for its own story. You might find it to be a good vampire super hero movie!

Watch it for Matt Smith being in something other that Doctor Who.

This isn't the most unique pr new story line I get that. But the visual effects are pretty cool. The fight seen are intense. You won't miss the terrible MCU one-liners. There is plenty to like.

GOOD!!! Men have been telling jokes like these and you all laugh. Flip the script and you are now offended. I'll admit that the tampon bit got to me a little but the point of joke was on point. Keep up the good work Amy!

8-Bit Christmas (2021)

A Christmas Story: Tired, slow 80s reboot

My hopes were high for this because of NPH. Sure he did his part fine but the plot was unoriginal and the pace left you craving caffeine to make it to the end.

This was nothing else than an version of 'A Christmas Story' updated to the 1980s. Instead of a bb gun it was the Nintendo. Instead of bullies you had a rich kid. It missed the mark as there wasn't the highjinks of the dogs, Dad, and the old oil heater breaking down. Instead there was plenty of waiting for something to happen. A contest just not for a leg lamp but for ... you guessed it! A Nintendo. Don't forget the cringeworthy useless power glove!

I seriously wanted to like this film. It left so much to be desired though and it was painful to sit through. It felt like you were sitting through a Hobbit movie getting to the last half hour. By then I simply lost interest on what was going to happen anyway.
