The show has its moments. But. What's the deal with all the F-Bombs?!? I enjoy a good F-Bomb, like most people...but the writers of this show are obsessed with one F-bomb after another from the entire cast and its characters, and most of time they seem forced - just for the sake of dropping a F-bomb. I keep thinking it's eventually going to stop or become less frequent, but it keeps getting worse. During one of the most recent episodes, it was like a machine gun of F-bombs. I counted 11 F-bombs during a 2 minute scene between 3 cast members, and it wasn't funny - it was actually kinda stupid. No one drops this many F-bombs in real life. Also, upper middle-class Fathers & their 16 year old daughters don't say the F-word repeatedly to each other like they do in this show. It's too the point, the F-bombs are so predictable, I now know when they're coming, and it makes the show even more stupid & unrealistic. Quentin Tarantino is the king of knowing when & when not to write a good F-bomb into a scene. But I'm sorry to say the writers of this show don't know when it is or it is not appropriate. And they need to take notes from Jesse Armstrong from Succession because at least his F-bombs aren't nearly as predictable and he writes an amazing show.

A Surprising & Beautiful Story

I did not like Brokeback Mountain and thought the film was too long and boring.
But really liked & enjoyed My Policeman. I thought all the acting was superb. Was very impressed with Harry Styles performance, and only knew him as a singer/performer.
I thought the script & storyline was beautiful and enjoyed all the music, costumes, time-pieces and cinematography. I also really enjoyed all the references to art & art history.
Lastly, I loved the ending and it made me cry unexpectedly with happy tears. I watched the film with my wife and we wept together - usually when she cries I don't - when I cry she doesn't.
Usually tears from films & tv are brought on by tragedies & sadness. My Policeman is a very refreshing & thought provoking film. When it ended, I laid by my wife's side, holding hands, while watching the credits. And we talked & I thought what a beautiful story.

Shark Tanked

Why mess with what works?! I can't believe they turned this into an American Idol type of reality show! The formula for Shark Tank was unmatched. This new version with a live audience is a complete joke! Whoever gave this idea the green light should be thrown in the a tank with gold diggers & hammerheads. I can't believe I'm required to keep writing more & more due to so many "required characters" to post this review. I feel like I'm watching a show of characters. I really hope this stupid lame idea & episode is a one & done. It's lost all of its allure & tense moments. The regular version of Shark Tank is real but this episode is so fake and a joke. And there you have it - I've finally hit the "minimum characters limit met" to post this review lol someone now slap me in the face - better yet - slap the Executive Producers of this episode in the rear end. The end.
"I Only Have Eyes For You" Was Very Disturbing

Love the show, the acting, the characters and everything about it. Until episode 9. I understand the intent and purpose of the premise but your "execution" was too hard to watch. I see lots of 7-10 star ratings/reviews for this episode. But not from me. I can also see why this episode has the lowest overall rating of any of the other episodes. Some of the other things I've enjoyed about this series is the cinematography, musical score and music song choices. But whoever gave the okay & green-light to feature the song "I only have eyes for you" towards the end of this episode lacked judgement and it was extremely disturbing to hear & see such a beautiful song so poorly portrayed. I understand perhaps that was the intent but it DID NOT work for me. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the finale episode 10 and back to he Emory's. PS I'm writing this at midnight - 2 hours after viewing because I can't sleep because my eyes, ears and mind still can't believe what I had seen.
The Lincoln Lawyer

Miscast Lead Actor

I'm 3 episodes into the show and I'm just not buying the lead actor's portrayal of Mickey the Lincoln Lawyer. And this has nothing to do with Matthew M's portrayal in the film. I don't see this lead actor as an Attorney from LA, who likes to surf, and practices law in various Lincoln automobiles. In addition, a lead actor is supposed to "carry the show" but his acting for this role is not right for the character he's portraying. I was born & raised in LA and the lead actor is an epic miscast. I'm also having a problem with the casting roles for Cisco & Detective Griggs because they're not right for these roles either - they were also miscast and their acting is not convincing.

First of all, I love tennis and I'm a fan of Will Smith's work. But the film was boring yet had potential to be a better story but it fell way too short.
The movie was too long. Too much about Venus. Not enough about Serena.
The writing was mediocre. The acting had some decent moments.
Nothing really exciting ever happens during the film except when King Richard was beaten up.
PS IMDb has been one of my favorite apps for years and this is my first review. I felt the need to warn people in an effort to help save their money and wait until they can see it for free (if they don't have HBO Max)
