Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)

Finally a Marvel Movie lately not Disappointing

James Gunn seems like rescued the Marvel's but sadly shifted his gun to DC.

Movie is the best of the Guardians trilogy and a perfect ending to many of our beloved characters in it.

Movie has a mix of both emotional and right amount of humor when required. May be a little bit more emotional than we require but good to see a Marvel movie not just being a funny and non sensical as it has been lately particularly with Thor and Dr. Strange.

A must watch movie, although this movie didn't show or setup any character for the future/ phase-5 movies. So it can be skipped too until it is premiered on Disney+.

However, in terms of visuals, graphics, fight actions everything is superb and this can be experienced even better while watching it in n 3D.

Citadel (2023– )

Same old spy drama...nothing new...

There is nothing gripping to actually be excited and continue watching this series unless there is absolutely nothing to watch.

It is basically copy & paste of few good spy dramas and movies. Seems like now a days writers are running out of stories.

Both the episodes seems rushed with no proper storyline to be able to connect with audience. Every scene can be easily imagined what is going to happen and I lost interest as soon as it started.

Acting wise all the main characters did a fantastic job and perhaps thats the only way this series can continue otherwise difficult to secure the series in future unless the writers actually put their brains into it and show us something new.

I hope the upcoming episodes change my perspective on the same as I was really looking forward to watch this.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023)

Seems like James Gunn's magic started to show up

Nice movie, worth watching with little surprises in the end. The movie not sure how much the new team under James Gunn were involved but it does look like it was shaped up for upcoming DCU movies.

Overall the movie was fun, good plot, good humor, better dialogues than the first movie. The movie is a must watch for DCU fans and if you found the first movie decent enough, this one will sure take you down with all the emotions good, bad, funny, sad.

The kids did a great job in this movie, plus the way the movie progress it sure will keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Good mix of all kinds of drama.

Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

Taika Waititi, please it is enough, don't direct Thor 5

This movie was a failed attempt not only with the storyline but with the humor and comedy angle too. In movies like this occasionally subtle comedy suits but Taika Waititi is now on a spree to make it a Mr. Bean movie out of Thor. I think Marvel should stop hi now.

Moreover the entire movie serious plot if your remove out of its total less than 2 hr runtime would not me more than half an hour. Rest all scene are forced and unrelated attempted comedy just to make it a filler scenes. Horrible writing, horrible plot and horrible execution. If possible wait to be released in Disney+ and watch it there as the whole movie anyway doesn't fit with any sort of continuity w.r.t Phase-4.. it was more of a standalone movie with no connections to anything.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)

Marvel Phase-4 getting bad through each release

Ohhh may be i went with so much hopes and most of us all did but marvel have to blame it. Each movie is worst than before in phase-4 except spider man.

The movie is watchable but its just fancy vfx that is it. Story line and plot is weak. America Chavez should learn better acting. Can't be like this in a super budgeted and established Marvel movie and ofcourse they made complete fun of the illuminati which was unnecessary. I hope they learn from out of this and Thor: love & thunder would have a better storyline.

The Princess (I) (2022)

Honestly not that bad

I was skeptical with many bad reviews but gave it a try. It is a fast paced movie without any dull moments. Good action sequences and fight scenes throughout the movie. Loved the way they showed the fights considering the lead actress is a teenage princess and despite her physical limitation how she overcomes and win the fights.

Overall a light hearted yet serious action movie and worth one time watch.

Extraction (2020)

Movie is not about Dhaka.. Rather a beautifully Directed action packed movie

The movie has some serious top action sequences, although lack an overall plot which keeps you uninterested at times. But due to less runtime, superb direction and screenplay it is worth a watch. During some action sequences it looks really intense and made us felt our presence as third person view following the actor which get on the nerves. I would say don't judge the movie coz it misrepresent Dhaka. Yes we South Asian understands how Dhaka/ Bangladesh or India looks but we need to grow up. The movies are an art of fiction. We dont judge other hollywood movies misrepresenting countries we don't live, so why this. Let us see beyond that and enjoy this action sequence. No need to spread hate and force bad ratings.

Captain Marvel (2019)

A below Average Marvel Movies

Rather i would say i'm disappointed since i went to attend the premier show with lot of high hopes. The movie seems to be just a filler between Avangers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Only scene which was excited was to watch the mid credit scene. Even the post credit scene is not worth waiting for. I wonder that is why Avengers:Endgame release is kept next month giving less time to digest this movie and appreciate what coming in Endgame. The character Captain Marvel was not developed properly and seems to rushed sometimes. I would have prefer this movie with a long run time to get it just the right for the audience to appreciate the story with a better writing and screen play. Overall a one time watch movie to just feel the character and watch her next month do wonders in the Endgame.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Justice League served well

Hater Gonna Hate and Lover Gonna Love. But It's high time people come out of Marvel cinematic universe and start appreciating that there is more to superheroes than just emotionless and unrealistic drama set in a world where superheroes are fighting madly without any accountability.

Even though I had by far the best IMAX experience while watching this film on the first day itself, i waited this long only to review this title in conjunction with the movie Captain America Civil War and X- Men apocalypse.

I'll rate BvS movie easily better than both of these movies, even though IMDb rating disagree mainly because the other two were riding on a huge fan base & huge history of films they carry at their back to make them successful.

BvS has its ups and downs, but it is way different from any superhero movies every portrayed. It's dark, pressing on real life world problem & politics and maniacs wants power who live in our everyday society.

The Captain America:CW also started on the same note similar to BvS on imposing actions and accountability of their destruction but lost its way in the end. The Story was completely predictable, apart from Black Panther there is not much character building and the whole movie honestly could be finished in an hour.

X-Men:Apocalypse was the worst disaster out of these 3, the movie was pale, the story lacked depth and the character like Magneto and Mystique whom we were once in love made us hate them. The movie has nothing to offer just pointless destruction everywhere and i say this movie can in fact be finished in half an hour itself.

So my verdict watch this movie again with open mind after finishing with Captain America:CW and X-Men:Apocalypse and i'm sure you will not disagree and will not be disappointed.

Focus (II) (2015)

A good comeback by Will Smith

A nice romantic thriller by Will Smith, and I must say a good comeback especially after the "after Earth" setback. This movie has a good mixture of romance, thriller, crime and humor. I personally would not rate it in, as a comedy genre. Of course a few humor here and there is always required for a film to be successful and this movie perfectly delivered on it. The movie is very fast paced and kept me engrossed throughout, especially in the first half of the movie. In the first half, well looking particularly to a scene few references can be drawn with respect to the "Now You See Me" movie. But all the cons or theft played were beautifully scripted and made me wonder "is this happens in real life to, I should be more careful". My Verdict: A must watch film, will not be disappointing.

Big Game (2014)

Interesting Trailer, Disappointing Film

The first thing I would like to say, what the writers and director were thinking. The Overall summary Plot is good, but the script and direction is too weak. They could have worked it in a lot better way. Any film should grasp the attention of the viewers throughout but right from the beginning I just had one feeling, "well I started this movie so has to end it, Running time is less than 2 hrs so I can do it". All the good part and the action can be seen in the trailer itself, apart from that there is nothing I found interesting in the movie. Too many scenes which doesn't makes sense at all. But the overall movie is only justifiable with its ultra low budget. My Verdict: watch the movie if you have really nothing at all to do and no better movies to watch.

Survivor (I) (2015)

A Good Thriller

It's a good thriller movie. I didn't understand the negative responses, nor the logics about the scenes many are writing. This is a movie, well, I prefer everyone to watch and judge by themselves. My verdict: I liked this film, it's one time to watch, good movie. Milla Jovovich action is always good to watch, and Pierce Brosnan can never be disappointing with his roles. This is the work of a nice script and direction. Although the film could be better in many ways if we put intense logics in every scene and action. But who cares, for a normal average viewer (i.e. not the critics or someone who looks for the flaws in any movie), this movie will be a good time pass.

Daredevil (2015–2018)

A Series I'm now desperately waiting to watch further

After watching many TV Series which are based on Marvel Universe and DC Universe, I never thought of watching Daredevil series, not especially after watching the Ben Affleck's daredevil. Still I watched after going through the trailers and reviews and much to my surprise I'm not at all disappointed. The series is really good. The acting although sometimes seen a little premature but overall I like each and every single episode. To compare it with the recently hit series Flash and recently concluded Arrow Season 3, I must say I'm more eager to watch the Daredevil series than those. The flash started good but lost its way in the middle where it felt sometimes that the story is not moving anywhere (concerning to the main storyline) and they had to bring the Arrow in between sometimes only to increase the attention and viewers. But this series is really fast paced may be due to only 12ep season but it will really keep you engrossed. I hope it will not lose its way like Arrow in the coming seasons. So my verdict: an excellent series to look out for. Great action sequences and plots. I particularly liked how they introduced and kept evolving the characters, the Hero and the villain, mixed with their pasts and present. One good thing which also working for the Arrow series, and if you see in the Flash that was lacking, the character build up especially linking it with the past. So go for it, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Time Lapse (2014)

A movie with low expectation but worth watching

As I had mentioned it in the summary title that this movie obviously has a very low expectations, I've seen Danielle Panabaker work in the TV Series like Bones, Arrow and Flash, and I have really grown fond of her acting. This movie obviously I gave it a try because of her. I know at least keeping the story aside the acting will good, and much to my surprise all the characters have played their role beautifully. I will rate this movie average as at one point of time somewhere at when the movie was 3/4th complete it felt like it was stretching a bit too long and added to my curiosity as what gonna happen next, this movie at that point was not moving ahead, but of course once i finished it, i will not rate it anything less than 7. A different, completely new and original concept to look for. Well of course as for any sci-fi movie there will be some flaws but to enjoy any movie you have to look past it. Since this is the first official full length (according to my home work) movie by the writers and director and a thumbs up from me. Good job.
