I'll admit that when I played the Brütal Legend demo i was expecting a generic hack and slash adventure with the combo upgrades galore etc. I like Metal and Rock music So i purchased it that Christmas. Had an absolute blast, even when the game switched to strategy i fell in love even more. My only gripe was it was too short having only 3 factions to beat with the last battle with Doviculus jumping in without having to fight your way to him and dlc focused on multiplayer maps. Would have been cool to get more story in even if they couldn't bring back the actors. In my top 5 on ps3. Truly an underrated Gem.

This film is based on a true story about the Smurl family who move to a new neighbourhood with their 2 children, and their parents who would be occupying the house next to theirs. For a while everything seems to be okay and they believe they have their dream house. Until upgrades on the house release 3 spirits that are being controlled by a demon. The events start of as small things such as whispers and other unexplained but not too disconcerning noises. eventually it grows from noise to apparitions(taking form). In one weird event the father of the family is threw to the ground and raped by the demon whilst it changes it form from a young woman to different grotesque looking women. A few exorcisms later they decide to move house. This films has some of the usual ghost activity such as moving objects and weird noises if it is based on a true story you would believe it with that happening. But when a man is raped by a demon it kinda makes it makes you think what the hell this is meant to be real! Overall I did enjoy this film the acting was okay, there was 1 or 2 cheesey moments( Mother of family thrown down stairs then miraculously mid falling turns and heads back to the stairs which she thinks is all because she slipped). i give it 7.5 - 10
