Good medical reality
26 September 2023
Dr. Sandra Lee is the kind of doctor you hope to see. She is foremost very smart and talented, she has excellent bedside manner even considering the fact that this is a TV show. She's just witty and charming enough for TV, but she also shows that she truly cares for each and every patient. This shows includes follow ups on how the patient is doing, and the results are incredible. Her commentary is great, the information she shares is easy to digest. She gives the patients reasonable expectations. It is refreshing to see good reality TV. Hopefully this show continues on. Yes, it can be gross, but it's informative.

Must see
26 June 2021
Firstly, I'm not someone who regularly enjoys watching pandemic, or zombie apocalypse moves. But after 2020, I decided to see how what has happened in my lifetime compared to what has been filmed before COVID. This show doesn't focus on the illness which I like or have any "zombie" fighting scenes. It focuses on the group and their interactions and responses to situations. The acting and filming are excellent. The group does make some irrational decisions but it makes you wonder if that is intentional to try and represent the fact that it's the 21st century and we are out of touch with survival skills.

This is an absolute much watch series. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever. All I can say is that you will not be disappointed. Obviously if you don't like violence, drugs, and explicit language then this isn't for you.

Terrible, childish
20 April 2021
It's a parody of a documentary. The entire plot revolves around a dick joke. It's one dick joke after another. The characters are unbelievable. Its utterly dragged out, it only needed to be one episode long, not 16 over 2 seasons. The show is overhyped. It's garbage, I'm not sure how any adult could enjoy this, I'm not even sure if my teen self would enjoy this.

Refreshing
17 November 2020
The judges are fair, consistent, and uplifting. They show the best in everyone and make it all a positive experience. It's a show that makes you want to get up and start baking. Refreshing in the sense that when someone is eliminated, they don't send them away like a piece of trash, they all hug and respectful let them leave.

Better than I thought

Coming into this show I expected it to be pretty stupid but I was wrong. I found myself wanting more and re-watching certain scenes over. I hope there will be a season 2.

Put off by the swearing
11 March 2020
When you think of a show about food, you dont think of a host with a potty mouth. The main host of the show, David, talks like a high school kid who wants to drop the f-bomb every chance he gets. The places and people they visit are all incredible and interesting. If they were yo drop this host, it would make for a much better show

Simple but good
20 January 2020
On the surface this movie seems simple and cliche. I've watched it 3 times now, and each time I caught on to more and finally understood the meaning of the film. It's also enjoyable because it doesn't have swearing, nor sexually explicit scenes. Which is a breathe of fresh air in it's self. You can watch it with your kids, kids with their parents, with your friends and family and it will all stir up conversations as well. Very well made film, the acting was great, visually it's nice, and ultimately it makes you think.

The L Word: Generation Q (2019–2023)
5/10
Terrible (so far)
21 December 2019
New cast members are generic and unbelievable. So far the first two episodes are politically based. Everything about the gay agenda is amplified to the fullest, making it beyond annoying. Even if I had no prior history with the L word, this show is still garbage (so far). There was so much more to the L word than it just being based on the group of gay women. Like the title once mean "L" stands for many things, unfortunately here it only seems to mean Liberal (as another review perfectly put it). Nonetheless, I will continue watching it in hopes it gets better. Shane, and Alice are always hilarious together and ep2 gave me a few laughs from them. So I still have hope it will get better, they probably weren't sure how to start off the first few episodes and many of us had our own ideas of how it should have been.

Cable Girls (2017–2020)

Could be a 9 or 10
18 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is a soap opera type drama. Excellent acting, beautiful scenery and stunning cast. The storyline is based around the main characters jobs at the cable company. The only problem I have with this series is the Carlotta and Sara/Oscar storyline. It is set in the 1930s and they try to push the acceptance of a transgender relationship on you as if during that time there wasn't going to be huge stigma around it and a lack of acceptance. Sara comes out as a transgender and all of her friends and colleagues are completely accepting of it without hesitation, come on now, even for a drama with over the top plots, this is just flat out unbelievable, again especially considering the time this is based in. If they would have done this storyline with Sara/Oscar, and made it to where she faced serious adversity, then it would be believable. Other than that, it is an excellent show that has/had the potential to be so much more.

Worth the watch
8 October 2019
This show is excellent, predictable at times, but still keeps you on edge wanting more. The actors are amazing, they are able to make you love and hate them. The dynamic is constantly changing making you wonder whose side you want to be on, bringing you on a rollercoaster of emotions with the characters. There's not a lot of swear words, or naughty scenes making it good to watch as a family with your teenage kids, there is a lot of violence so maybe use your discretion on that but it's well rounded and it all fits together so well. The storytelling is good, you're able to follow along and still be thrown for a loop at the same time. I'm extremely picky with what shows I devote time to and this is absolutely one show that is worth it. I hope they are able to make many more seasons.

Commercial sums up the show
28 March 2019
I first heard of the show through the Hulu advertisement. Decided to watch it after I seen it's getting decent reviews. I gave this show 3 and a half episodes before I could no longer watch anymore of it. The main charter talks just like in the ad, too fast and it's just a bunch of the same jokes repated in different ways by the entire cast. Sounds like something a bunch of teenage boys would write if they had to come up with a comedy skit.

Lost Girl (2010–2016)

Thoroughly Disappointed
28 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
From episode one I knew this show was going to have a cliché dialogue, and cheesy fighting scenes. I ignored it and continued to watch; nevertheless I was hooked. The plot is good, it has endless possibilities drawn from folklore.

Each episode is a new scenario. What ever they had accomplished as far as development of characters and plot was undone by the following episode. You may not notice it but there is no set time that's supposed to have went by in between episodes. So when the characters meet again is back to the beginning.

A lot of females (lesbians) complain about the relationship with Bo and Lauren. Which they do have a right to be angry or upset. The writers made it seem like Bo and Lauren's relationship was going to go some were. With all the "you take my breath always" - Bo and sweet little kisses. It never occurred to me that this show is only doing that to get some bi or lesbian woman to watch it in hopes of a true lesbian relationship.

You will see Bo and Dyson together several times in one episode. And numerous sex scenes (Bo is supposedly bring "healed"). Here Bo is supposed to have this great attraction to Lauren yet they are never together. These two characters spend most of the time arguing. When they are about to kiss, something gets in the way and it is stopped. Then Bo and Lauren don't speak for two episodes while Bo and Dyson and sexing it up. Finally in season 3 episode 4 (the newest episode so far) it hit me. The writers do not intend for a true lesbian relationship.

Yes, the first three episodes of season three you see Bo and Lauren together a lot more. They have had their sexy and romantic moments everyone has been wanting. Here's the problem... Bo is a succubus and the writers think Dyson is the only man (keyword here) that can be enough for Bo (of course we mean for "healing")

So here we are, the forth episode of season three. Bo is becoming weak and needs to feed off of sexual energy. (Remind you that she had no trouble sucking the life out of strangers on s03e01 for energy.) We find Bo and Dyson in the police station. Dyson asks Bo what's she doing for food "sexual energy" and she replies "Lauren" and Dyson said she wasn't enough for her (mean energy of course) And boom, two go at it. Bo is healed, Dyson now has feelings for Bo again and the end of Lauren is coming. How do I know this? Because Bo confronted Lauren about this and has agreed to let Bo feed off of others, no Dyson though. You can easily see how that will fail and Bo and Dyson will be back together because a human woman will never be enough for Bo.

The writers could have easily made the new character Tamzin be a love interest for Bo since she is fae too.
