The Grand Tour: Funeral for a Ford (2019)
Season 3, Episode 14
10/10
Clarkson, Hammond & May: The best trio ever on TV
12 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I love a fast ford, my all time favorite car is a Sierra RS500 Cosworth

This episode, being the last with an audience was a very emotional experience for me to watch as I sort of mirrored Jeremy. I'm lost for words.

What a way to end a 17 year long format.

Legends!

On my all time top 10 of TG/GT episodes

What a blast!

The boys have finally reached the top of their game in the Grand Tour format with this being the highlight of an overall great third season.

Including all specials they've ever done, I'd rate this on pair with Vietnam and Botswana - that's how good it is! Epic all way around.

Knowing that season 4 is only going to be specials, this is definitely a sign that they're on the right track - exactly like when top gear changed the format around season 8!

John is the most epic car ever featured in an episode with the trio, and I thought it would be the Sierra coaworth in next weeks episode!

I'm so hyped for season 4!!

Clever ways to combine Creed and Rocky IV
18 December 2018
I went into this very excited about the father/son theme on each side, and the fact that Mr Lundgren was back as Ivan Drago - one of my all time favourite, big screen villains! I somehow knew what to expect from the Adonis/Rocky side of the coin, so for me, a great sub story for Ivan and Viktor was so important and in my opinion - they got it right!

Awesome music as well and some very intriguing entry's before fights - they really nailed that for this one!!

It's an old formula, but done with passion and skill - I loved it!

Halloween (I) (2018)

The best of the sequels, but too far away from 78
18 October 2018
As a huge fan of the original I went into this with high hopes but also an open mind and not much in terms of expectations.

There is a subplot that really bothered me with the new dr Loomis character.

Also it lacked those amazing athmospheric build-ups from the 78 version and it felt rushed at times.

Well now on to the good parts

Jamie Lee Curtis is phenomenal in this, and Michael Myers is back as the shape lurking behind every corner, and both characters are solid. I loved this brutal and no nonsense version of Michael Myers, best since the original for sure!

Great soundtrack, and great acting too..

One thing is surpassing the original, but it seems difficult enough to get close even. I enjoyed it though.

Scream 4 (2011)

SCRE4M review (Spoiler free)

Hey guys. Awaiting this as a big fan of the franchise, I tried to tone down my expectations, but when the time came at the pre-premiere in Denmark, I found it hard not to be intoxicated by the atmosphere around the Palads Theatre.

First off, this will not contain spoilers! The opening scene: Simply great. Almost reaches the heights of the original, and this - indeed is original as well. Knocked people off their chairs, and everyone busted out in celebration. I was very surprised how the "feel" from the first film really worked it's way into this scene.

The middle: Great character building - loads of suspects, and constant twists and turns (most in the end though - obviously) The new generation is great as well, even though I would say that one or two characters is a bit misplaced. One character that I was really surprised with, was Hayden Panettieres! She did an outstanding job, and stole most of the scenes she was in. The old gang, Sid, Dewey and Gale was very important to this movie, and also the main reason why it works (as you want a Scream film to work 10 years later) The ending: I won't give anything away, not even.. Anything. But look out: It's heavy, and it's great! I was very surprised with this one, it really did well, and I would place it in between the first and the second. It was very "screamish", and that was the most important thing for this film to do to the audience. It was a ride back to 1996, but at the same time a clear statement of new-age horror! I gave the first one a 9, and since I'll place this a little below, an 8 is the least I could give it! 7 is simply too low, which is good! As a hardcore fan, I love this! Very important for the series!! The ending:
