Cringey and cliché, but binge-worthy!
14 December 2023
Imagine «The Summer I Turned Pretty» meeting «The Vampire Diaries» (without the supernatural aspects), and any other movie/tv show with a love triangle that include siblings. You have a plain/average/relatable teenage girl and two «hot» brothers fighting over her.

It doesn't have the same quality as «The Vampire Diaries», or any other CW teen drama, but considering the source material, I wasn't expecting that either. The dialog and plot is very cringey and cliché.

The acting is not outstanding in any way, but it's not the worst I've seen. But then again, I'm not the targeted audience for this show.

I liked it
9 December 2023
I liked «»Wish» more than I liked Disney's two previous movies; «Encanto» and «Strange World». Is it Disney's best animated movie? No. Is it worth watching? Yes, at least once. I feel like «Wish» is more like «Raya and The Last Dragon», except that it's a musical. It's a nice family friendly movie. It's simple and straight forward, easy to follow.

The songs were ok, they were fine for the movie and they did fit, but I'm not sure if I will listen to them outside the movie. Maybe kids will like them more than I did.

I liked the little easter eggs thrown into the movie. I'm not sure if I picked up on all of them.

Somewhat predictable
6 April 2021
It's a typical family movie, which makes it somewhat predictable at times. But it's a fun and nice movie.

Instantly hooked
21 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I got instantly hooked on the show, but mostly interested in Dawson and Joey, and their relationship, and not so much the other characters. I'm currently on season 3, and for the moment stopped watching because Dawson and Joey won't get back together permanently. I usually don't care that much about TV-couples though, so I might continue later.

The show is worth watching if you are interested in most of the characters and their story.

Fun movie
24 October 2019
I found this on Paramount+ and watched it with two friends, all of us thougt it was a fun movie. Sure, it's not the best movie out there or Oscar-material, but it was fun.

Did not like the twist
21 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The movie is similar to movies like «The Lady Vanishes» and «Flightplan», but with a different twist at the end.

I honestly didn't like the last part of ending. I liked the part where the man found his wife and daughter alive. I did not like the twist where it turned out he had killed them both and had created an alternate reality, and instead of saving his family, he saved a random kid.

Prefer Disney's «The Jungle Book»
8 December 2018
This movie is decent, and one of the best movies from Netflix. I liked that it gave more background to Mowgli's character, and how he came to be an orphan in the jungle. The movie overall isn't bad, but I still prefer both of Disney's versions (cartoon & live-action). In this movie Shere Khan has similar facial expressions as the wolf from «The Neverending Story», and all the animals looks kinda creepy.

This movie is supposedly more accurate to the book, while Disney's versions are more light and fun, and less accurate to the book. I personally have never read the book, but I grew up with Disney's cartoon.

Too similar to Pretty Little Liars
9 October 2018
I'm almost finished watching season 1, and there are so many similarities to Pretty Little Liars. I feel like I'm watching the same story all over again, just with different characters, a different town, and some other minor changes. And from what I've read online there are gonna be more similarites in season 2.

I don't mind the same character-types that are in every teen-drama show, most of the time the stories are different enough so it doesn't get boring. Riverdale is so similar to Pretty Little Liars it gets kinda boring. I hope Riverdale doesn't dissapoint me the same way Pretty Little Liars did.

Edit: Now on season 4, and the similarities to PLL ended after season 1. I'm enjoying the show alot more!
