The Breakfast Club (1985)
The best of the genre.
Over the top? Yes. Exaggerated? Yes. Still the absolute best of the bunch. Just a fun movie unless taken too seriously l, which many do apparently.
Born to Kill (1947)
Claire saves the day.
The title sets us up for a big letdown. Tierney is tough and that's where it ends for him. The Audrey long character is embarrassingly naive. Claire Trevor is totally underrated overall and is the only thing to save this disjointed and odd mess of a movie.
The Andy Griffith Show: Opie's Hobo Friend (1961)
Buddy Ebsen Shines
This is a treasure. It is an example of TAGS not always needing to be funny. Buddy as the hobo is a tremendous performance. The chemistry between Andy Griffith and Ronnie Howard as Opie learns life lessons is beautiful.
The Andy Griffith Show: Mayberry R.F.D. (1968)
Just a terrible send off.
This is just a horrible final to a great show.
Most of the last season was awful but this ending was horrible. What happened to everyone? The never tell us. Ridiculous.
