Joaquin Deserves An Oscar For His Brilliant Performance

Heath Ledger raised the bar with his Joker performance, but I knew that if anyone could nail this role it would be Joaquin Phoenix. I saw Joker and I absolutely loved it! This movie does not have all the action packed scenes we are use to seeing, it focuses more on character and the genesis of the Joker. Don't walk into the theater expecting and comparing him to Heath Ledger's performance, expect to see Joaquin Phoenix giving an Oscar worthy performance with his masterful take on it. In yo face Marvel! As much as I enjoy the Marvel universe, in my personal opinion none of those actors can pull off a performance like Joaquin in Joker. This movie proves that you don't need all the syfy and special effects to make a movie great, it has solid acting by a brilliant actor. Doesn't look like he would do another one but it would be awesome if he did. I love Phoenix and Deniro's chemistry together. Such a great film, one that definitely deserves to receive several nominations and accolades.

I finally got my copy of Boone: The Bounty Hunter on DVD, I've been looking forward to watching it for a while now. I watched the movie and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am a big fan of John Hennigan, I loved seeing all his amazing parkour and freerunning moves throughout the film. I also enjoyed his humor and one liners, they had me laughing. For those of you who like action films with some comedic relief, this is the film for you. John is a very talented performer, his chemistry with the rest of the actors was great. Loved the film and the cool wrestling moves.

Good Case And Very Funny

This is a case about 2 ex lovers who are upset with one another and are in court to settle some issues. Mrs Johnson claims Mr Roberts is a cheater who used her for her money and is no good. Mr Roberts claims Mrs Johnson tried to buy his love with gifts and was very clingy. He claims they were not romantically involved and that it was just a booty call. When Mr. Roberts ended this unconfirmed relationship Mrs Johnson then proceeded to slander him on a public website called "He Ain't No Good Girl Dot Com" Because of these alleged lies Mr Roberts has suffered loss of business and clients. He is seeking damages for loss of business as well as damages for slandering him on a public website. Mrs Wright is a witness for Mrs Johnson and Mr Bellos is the witness for Mr Roberts. This is a serious subject but also has moments of laughter. This particular show was enjoyable to watch.

I enjoyed this film it has several talented Actors in it. Sure most Actors may not be well known but I see bright futures for them. I like the fact that it's realistic and people can relate to what's going on. It's about living your dreams and the sad outcome of peer pressure and unfortunate circumstances. I applaud all those involved for a job well done and all they're hard work and dedication. Speaking from experience I've had the privilege of working with the Director Don Abernathy. He is great to work with and listens to the Actors input and suggestions. He treats everyone with respect and is professional on set. I wish everyone continued success in all your individual aspirations and dreams.
