Showing Up (2022)
5/10
This is boring in very interesting way:)))
18 June 2023
I mean, i can appreciate some aspects in this film, its telling how the artist try to avoid from showing up to the work he must do. And i can totally relate to it; when the artist needs to create art, he will start cleaning his house, calling his auntie lol, he will do anything to avoid doing. The artist needs to create art, but the world try to stop him from doin it.

But... this film... looks like the director did abything she can do to avoid from showing up to work herself. What a boring hell!!! The amount of yawning i had while watching it, yawning with tears of boredom. What a boring stuff!!!! Its almost funny, nothing happens, the protagonist taking care of bird that her cat damaged, most of the film is about taking care of this bird. And also she need hot water to shower, and she dont have, so she smells like truck driver's ass. The end. What a poor plot. Still- behind this nothingness, I can see what this movie is about.

The main actor is just amazingggg, but
29 June 2022
Too much tom hanks, too much tiktok editing, too much running the plot without go deep, and zero focusing on the drugs and obesity final years which i was most curious about. But the main actor is mesmerizing, the way he move and talk is unforgettable!

The 3rd season is so WOKE....
1 June 2022
I think Glover believes what they said about him after the first 2 seasons, so he is trying to be so abstract and unique, but its just pathetic- zero plot, zero complexity. Very very WOKE s-t.

17 May 2022
And is the best moment of the series, and yes, im talking about the mirror scene- it tells all the greatness of this books without words. But overall, this season was kind of meh, because the casting of the 2 major roles.

Well, i wanna praise it too, but...
27 April 2022
I must say we dident really enjoyed watching this, and waited it to be over. We went after to eat burger, and was too tired even to talk with eachother. This movie is off course well directed and well everything, and it is brave, genius, etc etc. BUT, it's exhausting, pressing on the same button, same button chrlie kaufman pressed on in the 00's, telling the same jock, and the plot is 1/4 interesting, swallowed by extra enthusiasm. Well, i can see its the "coolest" kid in class, but what can i say, i dont really wanna play with him, he is trying too much.

Jaime lee curtis though- wowwww. And also the stones scene- veryyyy zen. Go watch it, BUT... its ok if you dont love this flavor.

Amazing movie to take nap with
5 March 2022
A perfect 72 minutes nap, very nice atmosphere to sleep to- not a one noise will wake you. You will be in a deep sleep after 5 minutes max, but you need to set the alarm to awake after this deep sleep.

What a boring movie, and the dark brown filter they put all over it...
30 January 2022
Since sorkin is sober... what a boring works he doing. Kidman is awful, not related to lucy at all, javier got not nothing to do with the charming desi. Qnd the Communist plot, what a terrible excuse for a movie. I was expected this movie so much.

The kid stole my heart!
25 November 2021
The boy who played manny... oh my god. I can cry from thinking of him...

And well, this movie as i see it, is the last part if ms. Berry important trilogy: The call, Kidnap, and now Bruised. This films shows us how the modern black woman fight for her life against the dark white supremacy. In each movie she have very short time to save a kid from this mad world. And Yes, all of those 3 are kind of b movies, but still, got a huge emotional impact.

I was such a big fan of her. Now almost fell asleep
15 October 2021
This show is jut no fun to watch, not because her age, because still i think she looks like a (kind of) pop star. But everything is so political, yet shallow at the same time. Shes doing everything she can to intrigue u, but when it comes from white billionaire, its just sounds ridiculous. Even when she sings old hits, like human nature, is so busy with being political. All the fun are gone. A new democracy she screaming, death to patriarchy. And the audience just don't believe her anymore.

Im truly recommended her to make a new gay club album- that will be the place, of pure fun, and that's what she, and the world, needs right now.

Not a very good movie, but still- very inspiring!
29 September 2021
Its so inspiring to see clint still with us in 92yo, falling in love, and beating the bad guys. My father is 77, and im wishing him to be like this in 92.

Yes, all the reviews are true, and the supporting roles are awful lol. But its about the legand touching the ordinary, in his age he is come and give his old heart to this who needs it.

Thank you clint for this huge inspiration!

I just loved it! So deep and compelling
11 November 2020
This movie is so underrated and misunderstood- its a very philosophical piece of art, that came out from peter pen, but went a long new road to the fear of getting old, and amazing advices how to stay young. Amazing! And what a great acting, and directing. Give it a chance! It will make u think, and miss something u forgot

who cares???
10 August 2015
after epic first season, a season that made me think that the creator is one of the greatest genius in the history of American TV, came that season and proof me i was wrong. i was stayed tuned all season long with my mouth sealed: for sure there is something i missing, and soon ill understand the masterpiece i watching while trying hard not to fall asleep. but after the finale, i can say it out loud: who fu**** cares??? who cares about the mystery? who care about that boring victim casper? who cares about the bad guys? who are the bad guys? who cares about Vince Vaughn character? he was supposed to be the candy of the plot- well, he was nothing. who cares about that stupid pompous dialog writing? no yellow king this time. no carcosa. no magic pizzolato. just some poor wannabe David lynch. the only thing I'm gonna take from this season is Colin Farrell who gave his deepest act so far. his scenes with his kid was unforgettable. the creepy plastic surgery guy was pretty intense also. all the rest? nada. empty. don't waste your time about that one- its one of the biggest disappointments of the year. boring boring nothing.
