Kin (2021)
Fiction or not - it is cruel and bloody!
A crime drama with devastating violence, it talks about family, loyalty, vows of silence, crime, and revenge. Murder, death, and drug dealing are the daily activities of this Irish (Dublin) clan. The series depicts a terrifying spiral of violence that cannot be stopped.
The series "Kin", which takes place in present-day Dublin, tells about the fictional family Kinsella from Dublin. Although it is (allegedly) based on fiction, in real life, since 2015. There is an ongoing bloody war between two Irish clans - Hutch and Kinahan, which has claimed nearly 20 lives in the last 9 years.
Extremely tense (in both seasons 1 and 2), with characters who solve things each in their own way - some are calm and calculated (and one could say "smart"), but there are also those whose temper leads the family at least one step further into chaos.
The most brutal character is Bren Kinsella (played by Francis Magee) who is creepy and merciless - to say the least.
Cuvari formule (2023)
Almost 2 hours of wasted time
Is this movie about politics, science, or a search for enlightenment? Is, maybe, the French doctor the most important character in this plot? The plot is floating between these possible questions, but the characters portray a very pale picture of themselves and the event itself. The intent was to tell the story of humanity and empathy. But will the intertwining of good deeds and lies, along with the political intrigues in the political setting of the Cold War era overshadow this intent? Bjelogrlic might be a great actor, but his directing skills were not up to this task. Telling the story about the serious incident that took place in Vinca Institute near Belgrade, many years ago, which triggered the whole chain of events should have had much more substance, a more profound story, and an immensely better portrayal of the characters.
