Engine Sentai Go-onger (2008–2009)

A little late, but I feel like reviewing it.

After watching it, I can't help but comparing it to RPM. RPM was a great season. And a great one to close out the Disney Era of Power Rangers. Comparing that to this season isn't fair. It seems had RPM had a bigger budget. So let's leave that out of the picture for now. Go-Onger, at first, was cheesy as hell, and the acting wasn't good in the first couple of episodes. Though it grew, and eventually, the acting wasn't that bad. The characters, are a little bland at first, but obviously heroic and all that good stuff. That is until Hiroto and Miu make their appearance.

They are strong and out do the Go-Ongers in every way, but to me, that's what their downfall is. They're cocky and think they're all that, which makes them extremely bland and aren't that great of characters. For a while. Than they learn about how the Go-Ongers actual "powers" and so on and so forth. Cheesy and all the stuff.

As for the story, it's; "Evil people come, (BUT, with a surprisingly different motive! They want to pollute earth! Whoopee?) and so the Go-Ongers and Go-On Wings must stop them from polluting the earth while people from other dimensions come from other "worlds" and try destroy the world."

It's not the same "Evil people wantz to destroyz worldz!!1!", but it isn't the greatest plan.

Now I'm kind of new to Sentai, I've seen and enjoyed Shinkenger and now Go-Onger, so spare me the argument.

The humor seems to be flowing nicely through the seasons, (currently on Gekiranger), and at times, it can be really funny.

So, overall, it's a good season, but I'm still going to watch Abaranger-Gekiranger, so I'm signing off! :)

Power Rangers Mystic Force (2006)

Very, Very, Mixed Feelings

This is my first review, for a show that's been on for awhile, but I'm bored.

Anyways, this season is a very mixed one. So far, many people say that this is one of the worst. I beg to differ. It starts out very slow. The theme is rap, which I don't believe, but whatever. It's OK, but compared to others, not to good, but still enjoyable.

Taking place in New Zealand does not ruin anything except for a couple accents, but not that it matters.

I would NOT say this is one of the worst, it's very enjoyable, if you continue to watch. Kind of like Jungle Fury, RPM or Dino Thunder, in my opinion. The capes... don't do it for me. They don't fit but it's just a nitpick. The acting it, average for Power Rangers. The story is also average. Practically everything else is average about this series.

I do like the concept of magical and mystical things. It's also not executed badly, but not great.

So I would recommend it, but not for hardcore PR fans or People who I guess don't like magical things. Overall, it's a very enjoyable season.
