It's a good story but I think my main concern is that I understand people love "Easter eggs" but this movie references so many different movies it just feels like it's trying too hard. I kept thinking is this supposed to be an original story or something tied to others. Obviously Asha doesn't become the fairy godmother for Cinderella and so on and so forth. I thought the music was great just not loving all the face paced singing that Disney is doing all the time. Don't get me wrong Lin-Manuel Miranda's trend is great but this again feel like a copy and paste situation. I love the inclusion that we are seeing more and more of. Also the banding together really hit on the nose which I loved.

Was such a nice change

I love romantic comedies but sometimes it feels like we have heard the same story 13,000 times. It was really nice to have something so different and comforting at the same time. I can see how some people aren't gonna be comfortable with the sex scenes but the emotional vulnerability just made my heart happy & it's so nice to see others view on different relationships. The humor felt very honest and reminded me of a grandma's boy type Adam Sandler esk funny . I also really loved the acting & facial expressions were so good at telling the story or helping the story be it authentic self. I dare you to try and watch it if you can, and are open minded.
