This plot is exactly the sort of narrative we need more of. Two of the most important human concepts fused into a grand narrative with a moving synthesis and resolution. God is the first occurrence of systemic good and dance serves a similar purpose, redeeming emotions by crafting them into original expressions. This story has a way of pulling at the anger, fear, pain, and trauma related to both concepts while also invoking the pleasure, joy, love, and peace on the other side of both coins. I would recommend every aspiring young black filmmaker find this film and watch it. Brandi Brown is a talent.

Never thought I would say it, but thank you hollywood. Never ever thought I would say it. This show real as hell fam. Thank you to everyone who made it happen. It's like if Martin wasn't just focused on Martin, plus Parks & Rec mixed with The League.

Dr. Carr's class at Howard University was the highlight of this thorough historical journey through the pedagogy of the civil war in the American education system, from Black schools to White schools, from high schools to universities. Required viewing for all good citizens.

Great replacement for House Of Cards. HBO is getting more in touch with exposing America's addictive ethos while Netflix is pandering to mediocre diversity. Gritty truth is always more compelling than blank-slate fantasy.

Appreciated the technology and sonic moments in Montag's House and the efforts to adapt the story to postmodernism but he should have been married or had a domestic partner at the very least whom we'd see intimately consume the current media.
