If you have the chance to see this amazing film, go! For once, we have women who are over the age of 30 and attractive, sensual, and yes, even sexual. We get to see a naked very-pregnant woman, sing, dance, cry, scream, and try her best to celebrate the birth of her child with her friends. Every character is someone you want to get to know more - it is thoroughly impressive to see such strong characterizations. The film will make you hold your breath and eagerly anticipate the expected conclusion. You will laugh and laugh until you want to cry with Joy and Amazement at the end.

Everyone needs to lighten Up! This film is not a parody, rather an homage to both Hollywood storylines and Bollywood renditioning. It is simply meant to be FUN. (As Ms. Mehta said herself after the screening I saw, the film is not to make fun AT, but to laugh with!) There are many references and allusions to both Hollywood and Bollywood famous films. all tongue in cheek. Every actor is perfect, the songs and dance are the best! It's a simple story, told in an honest way, by an extraordinary filmmaker. It's a great bridge for both sides.

The film starts slowly and his characterizations of women are much less thought out then those of the men, but the film wins you over by the end. It's truly funny and quite enjoyable. The characters in the trailer park are divine- if only we all could live in such a place!
