Argylle (2024)

A Good And Entertaining watch

I don't understand the internet ratings anymore. Movies are subjective, but when your view is too far from the actual entertainment value of the movie it might mislead others who want to see it. Argylle was funny, action packed and emotional at some points. Went to watch this despite the reviews and the ratings. Got hooked to it after 30 mins of the initial setup.

It has been 4 years since I wrote a review on IMDB. I felt this one needs a review to subvert the other intellectual movie goers' reviews here. This is an action film with over the top sequences. A great story (Not expecting) and some amazing twists.

Independence Day: Resurgence (2016)

Better than Expected

Was very reluctant before going into the movie theater as I read all the reviews here, god they are so wrong. The movie was very much entertaining and the CGI was amazing to the core. The plot had it's dull moments but overall it was crisp and simple to follow. The references to the first part was great and not over used. Overall watchable more than once and you would enjoy it. The BG music is great and not hurting the ears.

What I loved the most was the movie never tried to setup something for the sequel, which has become a trend now a days. Director Roland Emmerich did an excellent job and the screenplay was gripping. The action starts of ten minutes into the movie.

Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)

Perfect Transforming - Put your Prejudices aside

To be frank i avoided watching this in the first week of release and hoped it would bomb at the box-office. Just as everyone else i was sure that this would be just another Bay's average Transformers movie( with the explosions and boom sounds, but, boy was I surprised. By the movie's end i was actually praising Bay and the technical aspects of the movie.

Transformers 4 has set the CGI quality bar so high, that no other world cinema might not reach it for at least another 10 years. I don't want to talk about the characters and the sentiments ( we are here for Transformers not for Jane Eyre). Overall the human characters had good screen time and looked fun without too much involvement in the story.

Go watch this with your prejudices aside,the movie is worth every penny. To conclude this is way better than the first Transformers movie. Good to see how the transforming happened from a gimmicky action-comedy(T1) to a Kick-ass Action Flick (T4)

Naayak (2013)

A pretty Good Entertainer

The first big movie of the year 2013, well the movie wished a good luck for the Telugu Film Industry with its Grace and Outstanding performance at the Box-Office. All the performances were balanced and it shows the directors care in characterization and taking.

The action sequences and

the dance performance by the lead Ram charan was amazing. Some scenes

lacked reality but overall an out and out Entertainer in the making. Both the female leads were beautiful and graceful.I should be talking about the comedy part of the movie here. The comedy track was amazing and the one-liners were perfect. We have to wait and see if this creates the new records at the box office or just an average flick in time.

Marapurani Manishi (1973)

A Being Human story...

I happened to see this movie on the television,the other day..wow..Felt proud to be a Telugu person..credit goes to DR.Akkineni Nageswara rao.He gave an astounding performance.Emotional-that's what this film is.discussing the human values in the story line..A wonderful tale.The other performances in the movie were also lovely.The screen play was marvelous.Its bad now a days performers are missing in the movie industry.The good old black and white movies had some real actors.This movie defines what loyalty is all about and where god is placed.The society portrayal was crisp.Coming to the comedy part the comedy was sensible and meaningful and the best thing is no body overdoes anything.

Firs hings first...this IS A ball krishna movie.So i was a little hesitant first to go and watch it.Then i had to watch it because of all the hype that was given and because the tickets were really freely available on the second day of the films release.So there i was in front oh balayya.The opening scene of ball krishna,the first-song was not really bad.But the whole movie that follows the song is A real comedy.Y vs chowdary the director of this film who happens to be the producer also(god save him).Ball krishna as usually started doing the great Russian circus and even does it in he last scene of he film.The 2 heroines of the film are more like street hookers.And the title song is a marvel with the ground breaking Cg i effects in which ball krishna shows his talent.Finally if u wan o forget about the outside world and laugh heart-fully(for Telugu peoples bad fate),go watch it(at Ur own risk).I cant say more than this pals.My rating -2/10.its just for on man.
