The Hidden Hand: Alien Contact and the Government Cover-Up (2013)
If extraterrestrial beings ever saw this film, they'd walk out of the theater
I'm not trying to be rude neither to undermine the work and time spent on developing this "documentary", but everything showed here is nothing short than collective delusion.
A single individual believing something that may sound far fetched as it is not based on any evidence whatsoever is simply wrong, but if you pool together 5, then 10, then 20, then 100 people believing the same far fetched ideas, the delusion feeds itself. After one person says something and the next one believes it and then says something equally crazy and the next person does the same, and so does the next one, so it goes, it is an endless loop of insanity feeding itself.
I'm not saying there's no life somewhere else, it's bound to be, the universe is just too big for us to be alone. But if you're looking for evidence or for structurally sound ideas or theories regarding extraterrestrial life, this equivocally called "documentary" is not for you, Keanu Reeve's The Day the Earth Stood Still or Ben10 make much much much more scientific sense than this.
Paranormal Activity (2007)
7/10... seriously????
as there's a lot of buzz around this movie and taking into account that IMDb rating is 7/10 I thought maybe it'd be worth watching, but If I could I'd ask back for my hour and a half spent in this disaster of a movie.
Why I didn't like it? - was it supposed to be scary? really?? - first person shooter-like "terror" movies are a bunch, and since Blair Witch there hasn't been a single one good, cloverfield, quarantine were BAD, and Paranormal activity... an equal waste. - characters didn't really deliver anything, no feelings, not a thing - through the whole film I kept expecting something to happen, but nothing did
however if you're using the movie to get your girlfriend to seek your protection it may do the trick, but the film itself, is nothing but awful.
(500) Days of Summer (2009)
just when you were sure you were the only sad soul
(500) Days of Summer, is a journey on numbness, happiness and the most profound sadness, love can take someone through. It's not a movie for everyone though, but for those who identify themselves with a heart that has never been one, and who sometimes feel as it a heart has never really been there, I think it's a truly enjoyable film, that gives you a sense of hope, like you're not the only one who feels that way, and gets you thinking that maybe it's not that crazy waiting to find true love. Plus Zooey Deschanel incredible cuteness and hers and Joseph Gordon-Levvit's performances are brilliant, transmitting you every feeling intended, so if you're up to it, go see the movie, you won't regret it.
