Dabangg 3 (2019)
1/10
3rd rated story and screenplay by pappu...
2 May 2020
What exactly is the point of such a film. This is so bad, it is more like a piece of crap in its purest form, a steaming pile of sh**.

Story writing exercises are taught in primary classes, but to have a creativity to write a simple decent story a person needs to have more than single digit brain cells which Pappu clearly lacks. To top it off it is directed by prabhudeva.

Even making a bad film is an art. For example, the cult classic Gunda is made so badly but still it is enjoyable after couple of whiskey bottles.

But Dabang 3 is just mindless piece of junk.

There was an attempt
27 April 2020
They did try, but feels completely forced. Loopholes in the story, crappy writing, illogical reasoning and still several sub par creative elements ruined what could have been a decent drama.

I don't want to waste anymore time on the review and you should not waste anytime on this show.

Had so much potential but ruined by crappy direction
13 April 2020
It had so much potential and could have been way better only if it could have been directed by someone with more realistic style and not a crappy Bollywood style commercial direction. Recently there have been such a nice wave of Indian dramas on Amazon and Netflix such as The Family Man, Secred Games, Jamtara, Delhi Crime, Panchayat, She and many more... Why couldn't the director of this series give those series a try and learn something from it. Making flashy is not a trend anymore. Make it raw and realistic.

Pathetic lackluster attempt to copy the original The Invisible Guest
9 August 2019
No need to say that it is an unoriginal idea or story as it is a remake of the Spanish The Invisible Guest(2016). When it came to acting, better than watching Tapsee and that Arjun character watching paint dry is more entertaining. I won't go on writing all the other things that are wrong with it, but will suggest you go watch the original "The Invisible Guest".

There is a reason for so many bad reviews
1 July 2019
When you see so many bad reviews and low ratings, there is definitely a reason behind it. It's not a conspiracy, but concern for fellow movie lovers. When you ignore advice of people trying to save you 3 hours of life and hair pulling, you pay dearly and so did I.

So let me warn you, which has been already done thousands of times in the other reviews, save the precious 2:45 hours of your life. Watching paint drying or drinking your Nana's bath water is more enjoyable than watching this movie. All this movie has is huge eye-catching sets and good costume design, rest all is dud. It's still mind boggling to see these producers and directors think just having huge sets, big budget and a huge star cast makes a hit film. Making fun of marriage and testing it's boundaries which many consider holy is not new to Dharma production, but when you want to test the boundaries at least tie it with good story line where it feels like a literature and not a regurgitation of crap that the producer swallows from a leather funnel.

Found this gem unexpectedly
11 July 2018
A movie like this among the pile of crap Sandalwood produces was a pleasant surprise. When I saw TV-PG rating on Netflix I was definitely skeptical about it. It's very rare that you find good PG comedies now a days. Also, I had never heard of the actor/director. So, deciding click on it was purely to forward and skim through. The first scene was quite funny so kept watching it and before I knew I was hooked.

First of all, it takes guts to make self-deprecating jokes and second of all weaving nuanced comedy with a simple story line takes vision and talent. Director/actor has done both. Getting featured on Netflix is definitely a big step. Hope the director/actor finds success and keeps making good movies.

Don't waste your time...!
22 March 2018
When bunch of people in a movie industry are bored and have nothing to do, they come up with this kind of movie. The story line, acting is uninteresting and unimaginative. It looks like more of a propaganda video from Chinese government on many occasions. But let's be honest, it is not going to fool anyone.

Quantico (2015–2018)

"Alex" is going to "Perish!"...
16 October 2015
One more idea bites the dust due to awful casting and poor writing. It definitely had the potential to be an interesting show, but just the idea cannot save the show. Writing and acting must work/go together to bring the idea to life and mesmerize the audience. Acting is just awful.

Speaking of awful acting, it reminds me of the lead lady. Her name is Priyanka Chopra and acting has always been her dream, and unfortunately it still remains just that... a "dream!". I have been watching her for almost 10 years now; she and "acting" have never been in a same room together... ever! Let me put it this way - if I were to draw a Venn Diagram of her skills and acting as a skill then they would be disjoint and as far apart as The Milky way and The Andromeda galaxies. The cheesy bollywood casts anyone with a tiara from a beauty pageant and that's how she came to the film industry. I hope she takes some acting classes and puts some effort to improve her acting. She should try saving the show first, let alone saving the country. She should watch "Carrie Mathison"; might learn a few things about acting...!

The theme of the show is a mix of "Bourne" series and "The Recruit". I don't think any one is tired of those ideas or ever will be. But, definitely, the execution matters the most to keep people interested where Quantico fails miserably for the main 2 reasons I mentioned earlier. I hope the focus changes to a different character in the show and writing improves or I don't see it going past the 1st season...

Limitless (2015–2016)

"Limitless" potential wasted by "Brainless" imagination...
1 October 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I had such a high expectations from this show and hoping it would be beyond expectations; unfortunately the original idea became a victim of another brainless imagination and writing. First of all it is profoundly stupid to turn it into another cop drama... To top that stupidity off, showing that cops come up with an idea to keep feeding the lead with "the pill" to give his brain superhuman abilities and exploit him to use to solve crimes. Do I need to explain the idiocy of the concept here?

There are thousands of subjects where the 'limitless' idea could have been applied to/used effectively - from world politics to wall street. But the yet another lame writer/director thought of taking the easy way; turning it into another addition to list of hundreds of 'yet another lame-ass cop drama' and try to cash in from the original idea. Just how many of these cop dramas are going to be made by 'wanna be's? These guys need to stop trying to make money the easy way and need to put in some effort.

It is really disappointing to see such a great potential wasted here.

Revenge (2011–2015)

"Revenge" for pussies
13 March 2012
When you see a show about revenge, you want to like it. In fact you want to love it. Who doesn't love a revenge story. But when I saw "Revenge" on IMDb and PG rating, I thought to myself, this might be one of those stories for those gullible teenage girls and absolutely not for matured audience, who love a matured revenge story. So, I dropped the plan of watching it. Then again after reading some reviews and when I had nothing to watch, I thought I'll give it a try.

Boy was I right, this series sucks big time.

First of all when you see revenge and PG you know that there is seriously something wrong with the show. The weak story and so many loop holes and occasional loud music make the show look like a scary movie on revenge. If you love shows like "Desperate housewives" and If you want to make a little teenage girl, that is hidden somewhere inside you happy, then this is the show for you. If you are more of a "Dexter" kind of person and really love matured and well written shows then stay the hell away from this one. Unless people stop watching crap like this, TV is never going to improve it's standard and so are the idiotic writers that write stories like these.

Even after reading this warning if you watch this show, then I'm sure just after watching 2 episodes you'll be plotting your own revenge against the writers and creator of this show... :-P

Unthinkable (2010)

Truly Unthinkable...!
27 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
This is what you think really happens when there is a serious national security issue...? Do you really think, the whole country would be dependent on someone as arrogant and an idiot as "H", who thinks he has all the power in the world and beats military guys and acts like a lunatic. (H's role is played by none other than, the mood killer - Samuel L. Jackson. his acting is really disgusting in this film)

And totop it off, It is depicted that "H" is more knowledgeable and has better interrogation techniques than CIA, FBI and military combined and after hours of torture the terrorist is still conscious and cocky.

The most funny thing was, "H" demands that his wife should be allowed to bring him food to the interrogation facility, since he is very particular about his food. .... wow... just wow...!!!

This is the first time I heard that (ex)military officer could or is allowed to be picky about what he eats... I wonder what he used to eat during his military training? May be he demanded his superior that his wife should bring his food... LOL...

And FBI agent who doesn't want to harm terrorists children in any way or use them to get the terrorist talking and doesn't care if the Nuclear bomb goes off...? Which could kill thousands.... What the hell is it? A joke...? I really would love to hear CIA, FBI and military officials opinion about this film and Jakson's acting.

Who the hell thinks this kind of crap and makes it into a movie. And why would anyone rate it so high... Don't watch it... save your bandwidth, money and time.

And finally... Peter Woodward(writer) - write some sensible stuff.

Theist Crap...
19 June 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this crap today... and I never felt so bad for myself... because no one can waste 2 Hrs of their life in a worst possible way than watching this crap.

First of all awful casting... Denzel Washington as an action hero... oh man... I'm sure the casting director is a noob.

You cannot enjoy any aspect of this film. First of all the whole movie is shot in kind of a dark... and to top it off the dark skinned lead...? Even if you want to enjoy some fight scenes, it is impossible since denzel will disgust you with his awful acting.

If an actor gets an Oscar for some role, doesn't mean he can act any role.

And the concept of the film is total crap for which you will not want to waste your time...

Lowest level of show making
28 May 2010
This show is nothing but a lowest level of show making... The characters are just annoying... Background laugh is irritating since it happens during unfunny dialogs and unfunny situations...

What the hell is with Debra Messing's overacting. The more irritating than Debra's overacting is her assistant Karen's voice...

There are hell lot of annoying things to list here... but the top in the list is people laughing on stupid scenes and stupid dialogs which is louder than the actors voice... so you cannot hear most of the things they say.

Overall its just pathetic... annoying... and disgusting.

Who the hell is the casting director for this...?
12 March 2010
The show is really funny. Nice theme. Jokes and one liners are really good. With little extra tuning it can become a very popular show. But the only major negative point of this show is the cast. David Spade does a great job as Russell, Megyn Price does a good job. But who the hell did cast Patrick Warburton, Oliver Hudson and Bianca Kajlich.

Technically Russell and Jeff are the main characters of the show, which make viewers wanna watch the show. Russell is a playboy and Jeff is a kind of frustrated family man, The relationship wiz... with an experience of all the problems a married couple face in a relationship.

Patrick Warburton - does a horrible job as Jeff, he is not at all suited for the role. He is like a robot, literally there is no punch in his dialog delivery.

Cast is really very important for viewers to like it. The bad acting certainly will take the show downhill...

One bad actor can spoil the whole movie for you...
23 January 2010
Movie was good. Every one acted very well,Sandra and Ashley Judd are hot and also acted well. But the lead "Matthew McConaughey" just screwed the whole movie with his disgusting acting. You cannot enjoy the movie without noticing his irritating dialog delivery and worst acting. He just spoils the entire movie watching experience. Who the hell does even think of casting him in their movies. Even the girl who played the character of the rape victim acted very well compared to him. His acting is disgusting. Which spoils the thrill. You can enjoy the movie if you can ignore his awful acting, but the problem is, you won't be able to, since he plays the lead role. So the whole movie watching thrill is screwed. My advice is, better read the book... You'll enjoy the book whole lot more than the movie...

Malgudi Days (1986–2006)
10/10
The best TV show ever in the history or future of Door Darshan
2 June 2009
Even though knowing that one of the Karnataka's most talented actor/director Shankar nag has directed the series and also acted by Karnataka's (kannada Film Industry)great talents like Anant Nag (brother of the director Shankar Nag) and Master Manjunath, I never expected this to be so good. When I watched the first episode I was dumb founded. After that I was just hooked... I still remember my childhood days eagerly waiting for every single episode and totally getting lost in amazing stories of "Malgudi Days" and swamy's innocence for the whole 22 minutes and wishing those 22 minutes to never get over. The serial is shot in Malgudi (a sweet place in Karnataka) which depicts several stories from Swamy's life written by RK Narayan. I own the DVD's and still watch them regularly. Even after watching countless number of times one can never get bored... If you want me to describe "Malgudi Days" in words I can merely say "Words cannot describe it" or words by any body else other than RK Narayan himself.

Smallville (2001–2017)

Flawed
30 April 2009
This show is not for you, if are a big fan of Sci-fi's and love X-Men and Spider Man animations and the great story behind them. This show is totally flawed, none of the facts in the serial seem to be in sync. Most of the things they show from episode to episode contradict.

This show may appeal to 10 year olds, but if you are an intelligent viewer who puts direction, story and acting at a cross-wire, and expect everything to be perfect or at least to be average, then believe me you'll hate this show. You'll also hate the makers for disappointing hard-core Sci-Fi, superhero fans like us.

Instead of making it interesting episode after episode, Smallville succeeds to drive away its intelligent viewers.

Finally, do not watch it and make you loose interest in superhero flicks.

Genius...
28 April 2009
To say in a simple sentence "It's awesome". Currently the only consistently good going thing on TV. If you are a smart person and love intelligent humor then this is the show for you. It is amazingly well written and well acted. Like many of the TV shows it has not lost its track or never had even a single sloppy episode. Hugh Laurie perfectly fits the role and all other characters are also well acted by the respective actors.

If you want to experience and enjoy all the aspects of a good show from script, direction... to acting then watch this show. This is the best show ever, I'm sure you'll get hooked to it once you watch it...

Watch it to believe it... ;-)

Criminal Minds (2005– )
1/10
Disgusting - Total waste of time
24 March 2009
I'm a big fan of thrillers. I have come across many worst shows, but nothing is as disgusting as this one. I have no idea how could someone cast "Mandy Patinkin" in a lead role. His every single dialog delivery irritates me to the core. This show does not give any technical details on how the killer works or how the profilers are trying to track killers down, but they somehow catch the killers and we have to assume that these guys are experts. This should be called a magic show... Since actors make some face expressions as if they are thinking really hard and after some time magically they catch the killer, without giving viewers any underlying technical details or facts that they are using to track the killer. Do they think viewers are so dumb...?

If you want to watch crime detective thrillers then watch CSI - a great show and Bones or Numbers which are good shows and give complete technical details and facts that the characters in the shows put together to arrive at a conclusion, respecting viewers intelligence. Criminal Minds should not be even considered as a below average show. It's waste of viewers time.

Finally, do not waste your precious time on this terrible show...
