Too Much Pussy! Feminist Sluts, a Queer X Show (2010)
At best, a very poor attempt at something interesting!
This film tries to sell itself on "feminism, sex art and education" it only succeeds on one of these.
Feminism - not in my dictionary, there are moments of man hating and moments of lesbianism, but there is never any constructive mention of equal rights.
Sex - this is succeeds on, but its gratuitous, unpleasant and pointless. various acts of sexually explicit stage performances are shown in detail. There is even a scene where a woman allows her cervix to be examined by strangers, apparently because most doctors are men and therefore not enough "women or female bodied persons" (?) get to see a cervix. Ridiculous.
Art - art is very subjective but to my tastes this is as far from any kind of art i can think of. There is at best very loose story lines or points to any of the stage work you see, it is also all shot with what appears to be a hand held camera in the crowd, this makes the picture shaky and unpleasant to watch.
Education - this gets a little wound up, cause the idea of this education anyone is repellent. it tries to teach women to hate men, all through the film there is references to men controlling women, but none of them are confronted with a educated response i.e. trying to gain equal rights for men and women, not gain more rights for women than men.
i see the film makers as a female version of a male chauvinist and for that reason alone this film loses all credibility for me.
The Book of Eli (2010)
religious propaganda and a very poor excuse for a film.
the one is for some interesting and different camera-work and a decent (if simple) soundtrack.
other than this there is nothing to this movie but some christians desperately trying to get the message to an audience. poor excuse for a plot, anti-climatic ending and a very average performance from the main cast. films (in the uk anyway) now come with warnings such as "contains mild peril". personally i think this film should warn against "religious propaganda", it is something a think people who are not religious should be given a chance to avoid if they so wish, i certainly would have done if i'd known what the films message was.
xXx: State of the Union (2005)
the worst film ever made!!!!!
just thought i'd vent my anger at the film makers of XXX:the next level (non us title). Crap graphics, cgi, acting, directing, plot (if you could call it that), casting,
producing, cinematography, camera work, blue screen work. The only glimpse of a good thing is the fact that there was an American president
who seemed to give a toss about the rest of the world. Shame the defense secretary was so close to the real thing. Anyway, an abomination of a film that should hopefully put a cease to any hope of a XXX3.
Space Mutiny (1988)
Beautifully Made
Beautifully made, should've won oscars for its stunning screenplay and awesome acting skills, direction to rival speilberg and lucas. The playwriting is also brilliant better than shakespeare or god (if he could write plays). You ponder humanity when you know you are watching such monumental material as space mutiny. Thank god for this film. It saved my marriage!
Backyard Dogs (2000)
the best movie i have ever seen in my life (p.s. i dont get out much)
this movie is a true to life depiction of the trials and trauma involved in prancing around in your underwear (i mean wrestling). A dream come true. I could really relate and cried at the end. If only life could be this wonderful.10/10
