I love art and sports, an artsy, athletic, atheist. I consider myself a writer (poetry, short stories, screenplays, haven't written a novel yet) and been playing soccer since I was 3, fencing since 2007. And started competing in triathlons this year, 2014, and have a new addiction.
I love cinema, as simply put as that. The escapism, the existentialism , and just the pure entertainment is why I'll always love cinema. Films are my wife, my fiancee is my mistress..
And for any DFW atheists that wants to help the poor, google or facebook Homeless Nexus. We don't have the best funding, but we give them what we can, and always pass out condoms, which is one thing I know churches don't do.

Big Fish (2003)
Tim Burton's Masterpeice
Tim Burton, the man that made us sad in "Edward Scissorhands", the man that chilled our bones from "Sleepy Hollow", the man that tickled our funny bone in "Ed Wood" and "Mars Attacks", and the man that helped bring some of our comic book hero to life in "Batman" and "Batman Returns". Now he has amazed us all by showing us how great of a director that he truly is in his Masterpiece, "Big Fish".
Based a the novel written by Daniel Wallace, "Big Fish" is a great story about a man ,Ed Bloom, who tells many people stories of his "fairy tallish" life, and how he and his son , William become estranged due to the son growing weary of his father's "tall tales". When the Ed becomes sick his son William comes to his father while he is on his, what might be, his last days to life. William soon finds out that he's father's stories weren't as fake as he thought.
With an excellent cast, featuring Ewan McGregor, Albert Finney, Billy Crudup, Jessica Lange, Alison Lohman, Helena Bonham Carter, and Steve Buscemi, Danny DeVito, and others that I did not mention, this movie becomes one of the best the movies of the year. The great acting by Crudup and Finney makes it feel that they are not fictional characters, but real life father and son. The other acting performances are nice and exquisite, and the dialogue is nice and fresh. This movie is always full of symbolism, and a lot that I probably can't figure out on my own. This wonderful film also had a good amount of scenes that had the audience, and me, laughing, without crude humor.
I believe that this film will stand the test of time, and I recommend this movie to anyone who likes to watch movies.
4.5/5
Cop & ½ (1993)
One of the Best Movies that I have ever seen!!!
THERE MIGHT BE SOME SPOILERS IN HERE
This Movie is so great, Burt Reynonds and Norman D. Golden II do a great job in this film. And Henry Winkler did a good job at directing this movie. I remember watching this movie for the first time when I was 5 and since then I have loved everything about this movie. Now I am 15 and my friend and I watched it the other night and we were laughing our a$$es off.
"I'm your worst nightmare: an eight-year-old with a badge!
"Give me a milk Steve!...... in a dirty glass"
"Who are you the Micky Mouse patrol?"
If you don't find that funny then something must be wrong with you. When you watch this film don't expect it to be great like The Godfather or Fight Club. Just stop picking at every little thing and have fun by watching the movie. I mean crap it's a freaking Family movie not a drama that they tried to win an oscar for. This film was made for little children not for 18 year olds so whenever you rate this give it what you would if you were 5 years old.
Con Air (1997)
Best Movie of the year
Some people thought this wasn't that good of a movie but I have many reasons for giving this movie a 9. I remember when I was in 4th grade I saw this movie for the first time and I liked it from the start. This plot about a plane designed to carry cons and than the cons taking it over. This movie also had great acting in it, one of Nicholas Cage's best roles that I have seen. John Malkovich portrays his character Cyrus the Virus very well. The only downside of this movie is the title "Con Air" because my mom's blow dryer is made by the company "Con Air". Other than that this is one of those must see movies.
