Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Subspace Rhapsody (2023)
Just Cringe!
This episode was every bit as bad an idea as I worried it would be. I was already cringing during the first song, and shut it off during the second. This felt less like Star Trek, and more like Revenge of the Musical Theater kids. I'm guessing the concept was pitched by Christina Chong, who just released an album, and everyone else just loved the idea. Except the concept is an abomination, the complete molestation of everything that's been Star Trek for over 50 years.
While Strange New Worlds has made some great advancements this season, I worry they're getting too hooked on wacky gimmicks. Focus on the trekking!

What a Pile of Dung!
Man, if the right-wing is going to try bankrolling "documentaries", they have to at least hire filmmakers of minimal talent. This is one of the worst "films" I've ever seen. The director/star is a moron...no surprise, he's a Republican, and isn't funny at all. What I already know is that the right will get sopping wet over this no matter how incorrect or inept it is.
These are "FOX Fans". Moronic, fanatical sheep who love Vin Diesel movies, NASCAR and go on about how "hot" Ann Coulter is. This film gives me some hope. Making propaganda for talk radio or FOX "News" Channel doesn't require creativity. But making documentaries requires some skill and creative ability. The GOP can fund these projects all they want - if they are unwatchable, no one will see them. Anyone who thinks of watching this should realize - you'll never get that hour & 1/2 of your life back...but you'll wish you could.
