A highly recommended witty satirical narrative on the discrepancies between poverty and the costs related to the "living clean movement" of climate activists who have grown up middle or upper middle class. While the pace indeed could be picked up with better editing or a punchier soundtrack, this show is highly intelligent and nuanced. Writing and acting and cinematography is top notch (yet again another reason I'm thrilled they got what they wanted in the strike). I hope the streaming networks don't just keep abandoning intelligent intellectual shows. Tip: Keep going, don't binge this one, and think about it in between episodes.

The Serpent
(2021)
Gripping and well done.

I can't fault this show much at l and finally we have a show where they try and showcase the international scene properly with many accents and languages spoken. However as a Canadian I found it disappointing that Olivia Coleman pretended to have an Angla accent and not an actual French Canadian one.
The only other fault I have is the jumpy editing. I don't mind time shifting but this was just all over the place. Otherwise great moody show, great cinematography and wonderful performances all around.

The comments below are opinions on the subject of the doc not the craft of the doc. A well made well edited doc.
Everyone has an opinion but it's interesting to see where the industry is at right now and what has shaken it.
