Bhakshak (2024)
A Reporter's Resolve
Bhumi Pednekar takes the lead as Vaishali Singh, a reporter who is struggling to balance her dream and personal life.
She stumbles upon a small orphanage in Bihar involved in child abuse and decides to help the kids out.
The story revolves around her efforts to do so while facing the odds.
Sanjay Mishra's presence provides a comforting touch to the film, injecting moments of levity into an otherwise grave storyline.
Aditya Srivastav also did a good job portraying the antagonist in the film.
In the end, the film leaves audiences with a lingering question, but I'll let you figure this one out.
Mera Bhai (2024)
Emotional Rollercoaster
From the very first episode to the last, the series is an emotional rollercoaster. It depicts the bond between two brothers, Bittu and Sittu, who are poles apart yet care about each other in their own ways.
Each episode unfolds as a new day in the daily lives of the brothers, bringing forth fresh challenges, laughs, and questions.
Throughout the series, the parents make occasional comments, but the interaction of the brothers with them is minimal.
You will experience nostalgia, a range of emotions, and moments of happiness.
In the end, it leaves you with a smile on your face, wanting more.
If you're looking for something light to watch, which is also short and reminiscent of sibling relationships, this is a no-brainer.
