Day of the Woman (1978)
OUCH!
I remember seeing this movie at an all night show at a drive-in with The Toolbox Murders, Phantasm and Night Of The Living Dead.( I know, some of you are wondering what a drive in is...) This is one of those movies that don't fit out of that context, It would not be a great t.v. flick or even get played today in one of these multiplexes, but seeing it at 2am laying on the trunk of my G.T.O. it was great. I remember everyone there cheering the girl on as she got her revenge and all the guys cringing at the bathroom scene. Ouch! Grab some popcorn and enjoy.
Whitesnake Commandos: Donington 1983 (1983)
AWW YEAH!!!
For all us Deep Purple junkies from the 70's, Whitesnake was like methadone after they broke up (of course with three members of Purple, some say they just changed their name) . But for those of us that remember that heavy metal was not always mired in death, whining grunge lyrics, Punk influences, or cases of hair spray, this is a good look at a great hard rock band. While it suffers from the concert film format, fans will not notice this, and hopfully enjoy what Whitesnake was before Coverdale got exposed to all the fumes from the hairspray and reformed the group as a big haired 80's band.
Lost Voyage (2000)
I think I've seen this before...
Oh yeah...It was called Event Horizon then. Not a bad movie, but if you've seen Event Horizon you have already seen this almost word for word, Even the same basic characters. If You liked Horizon, You should like this. Nice creepy effects and gore. It's would'nt win any Oscars, But its better than a lot of sci fi out there.
